What did you pay for your KIA Telluride?

Its not possible to determine the ETA until the order is transitioned from the KDealer system to the factory KFOS system. The rough estimate based on the current production numbers is 2 - 3 months, but that is not set in stone.
No deposit.
No.
Nothing beyond submitting the order has happened so I can't quote a doc fee.
Call Matt Herman & tell him I referred you.
Thank so much for the info! I just saw on their site that the processing fee is $649. A bit high but not terrible comparted to the ~$500 i've seen elsewhere.

Need so some advice from DMV (Nova) shoppers. I got a 2022 NFE/P coming ETA on 6/24 from Salisbury Kia in Salisbury MD (ordered on 4/19). $1995 above MSP/ $1k deposit. I had been reaching out to several dealers and went with them because at the time I could not find a dealer doing MSRP. Timbrook Kia in Cumberland, MD is saying I can order with them and pay MSRP, but can't put a timeline on delivery. I can survive a couple more months waiting, but I'm wondering should I just eat paying the MSRP? I really just want to hear thoughts. I'm probably going to eat because I want the car and I excited that's it's coming so soon. But feeling some kind of way about paying over MSRP. I can afford it, but just feel like I'm throwing money away. The dealership has been straight forward and pretty great to work with otherwise.

Does anyone think I could negotiate it down a little based if I tell them what Cumberland is offering?
Certainly can't hurt to try, but probably like many others have seen here, there would be other buyers lined up ready to pay $2k above MSRP if you don't. In other words, there isn't a lot of incentive for them to come down on price. That being said $2k is not too bad, considering a lot of DMV dealers like Ourisman and Koons are $10k above.

By the way, I bought from Timbrook. Great experience. I did get lucky and found one on failcat that was coming in. It was a customer order, but customer had backed out. They offered it to me with a deposit. Came in about 3 weeks after seeing it on failcat.

I agree. I'm sure it feels bad to pay that much on an order you also had to wait for, but it could be worse. You're still getting about the same price others are getting from cars off the lot but also getting exactly what you wanted.

IMO, Go with your gut...I understand the feeling of "throwing away money" but consider the other variables- getting it sooner and feeling good about the dealership. Sometimes you can't put a $$ on those things. Best wishes on whatever decision that you make!

Not sure if this is the right place, please correct me if I've posted in the wrong area. My question is that I have ordered from my local dealer, they said it will be about 3-4 months for delivery. However, they don't have an Order Number for my order. Is this standard? Do they only get an Order Number once the order is accepted by Kia and they get closer to building it? Or should they have an Order Number now? Many thanks in advance.

Hi there, new here. Ordered a Telluride EX in Sangria on May 21st. I'm currently #79 in line as of today (#23 for an EX but I dunno if that even makes a difference). LOL. I live south of Seattle and ordered from the Puyallup dealership. I had actually given up on getting a Telluride for about a year after the dealerships close to me quoted me $56K. I was online randomly one day and Puyallup said they had them for MSRP so went down there the next day and test drove one. Sold it to me for MSRP plus they ad $1500 for a 20 year 200,000 mile warranty and lifetime free oil changes and car washes which I was OK with.. I also paid the $2K for AWD. Since then I've been calling around and every dealership I talk to tries to tell me that there's no way Puyallup is selling me the car for as low as I am and that they must be lying to me. So I got it in writing with a signature. One guy at a different dealership tried to convince me that there was a $6K freight charge since they ship over from Korea and that Puyallup must not be telling me about that... I found 2 used ones in stock elsewhere but both want $50K not including taxes and fees. So I keep hanging on to my one down at Puyallup. Out the door with taxes and fees I'm expecting to pay $46K and it'll be a 2022.

The only thing that sucks is they won't give me a timeline at all, not even an estimate. All they would tell me when I got on the list was that the last person to receive one got theirs in 4 months. So crossing fingers it comes sooner rather than later! They've been very good at communicating. I email back and forth with them every so often for an update and they don't seem to have any issues with me bugging them. Today they responded in like 15 minutes to my emails.

I'm super excited!!!

I ordered from Puyallup at the end of February. I checked in with the salesman (Tim) every month and he gave me an update on where I stood on the list. My order went into Kia last week, and Tim expects my SX at the end of July. They also quoted me $2,000 over MSRP but with the warranty and oil changes, that's fine with me.

Yes, Tim is who I'm working with. He's been decent so far, no issues. It is probably $2K for the warranty above MSRP, I said $1500 up above but then was doing the math and it wasn't adding up. LOL. All I know is he told me $46,400 out the door with the warranty and AWD and I think the Sangria color has a charge... Auburn has one in stock with 27,000ish miles, their first one they've ever had used. He quoted me $50K before tax and fees. Everett is also getting one in with 201 miles on it and they also quoted me $49K before Tax and fees. They're both identical to what I ordered with the sangria and EX trim. I said no thanks! I'll take my new 2022!

BTW that seems like a good timeline for the SX. He told me it might take over a year. He said they have so many orders for it right now that if I wanted an SX it would most likely be a 2023 before I got one... So I just stuck with the EX.

I just can't fathom ever paying over MSRP on any vehicle no matter how popular it is. I will have to wait until they market settles down a bit. To me it's just throwing money away. SX in prestige is one of the top 3 vehicles I'm looking at though.

Hey all, new to forum here in Western NY . We paid about $300 under MSRP for 2022 S in Black Copper AWD. Considering the popularity of the vehicle and value was ok with it since they gave a great number on my wifes 2018 / 37500mi Tiguan SE (about $3900 less than we bought it for new). Used car market just as crazy right now...

The only thing I’ll say to that is if you have a trade in, you are getting substantially more now then you would if the market was down. So it may even out in the end. I still would not pay above MSRP though.

That is true I have dealerships offering me more on my trade-in for my Durango than a lot of the online places are doing. So that might help cut down the price on a telluride a bit.

Wondering about expectations for price off msrp—my dealer is now taking orders but will only do it for msrp. Any ideas about negotiating price or expected rebates/incentives? Are other Kia models discounted much?
5k over in Plano for grey/white interior sx with nightfall

Where did you buy?
Matthews Kia of Greece, taking delivery mid-July. We went in about a week ago now and they actually had two for sale on the lot. Both LXs and wife really wanted heated so seats so lucky they were getting a S in that wasn’t sold yet. 2022 has the bigger screen which was worth the wait

Well we don’t have it yet. We lucked out, we received a call that an EX-NF was available black on black.

by the time we got there it was sold but he then says they have a Gravity grey SX-NF-P w/tow package coming in around Aug. the guy canceled the order. Do I want it?

MSRP was 50,750.

said yup we’ll take it.

Are they going to offer it to you for actual MSRP I would get that in writing

ABSOLUTELY. Get the deal in writing. Because you know there will be another buyer who will happily pay more and they will take his/her money over yours! Accountability!
Maybe they’ll accept a deposit?
