Finish on mirror folding button came faded

The mirror folding button on my telluride came from the factory as shown in the photo. Anyone else seen this? Any ideas how to fix it? I have tried several cleaning solutions with no success

IMO, repair = replacement = warranty claim. Don't wait.

Not a terrible idea. First oil change has to be coming up soon. I'll ask then and report back.

And the more you attempt to clean it, the more wiggle room you give them to deny the claim "no wonder its tarnished, you used xyzzy on it."
