I finally got an update from my dealer with VIN info and the detailed delivery status. Their system shows a delivery date of 6/27 (my order was placed on 3/27).

For those who have already picked up, did you find that the delivery estimate date was accurate for you?

I call BS on this one. Kia.com doesn't show any inventory for an SX model within 50 miles. Probably just been ordered and a VIN assigned. Could be 6 weeks out.

If you search for zip code on the Kia site ,the cars that are coming into the dealer even if they're pre-sold will show up. I'm waiting to see my Everlasting Silver show up.

In the pictures it shows the 20" SX rims so it might just be an error on the website but the rims are the same as the ones on my SX prestige. I would suspect that the color changes in the sunlight. Even the Moss looks different in sun vs cloudy days and I have people tell me it looks black, brown and green.

Actually the Moss, the black copper and the Everlasting silver all could be two colors because they look different in the light and in the shade

I ordered my black copper on 3/9. Did anyone order theirs before this date? I do know some showed up at dealerships but I’m wondering about customer orders.

I got this from my dealer yesterday. This could be a truck full of Black Copper Tellurides! I’m the last stop in MA ETA 6/27. Hope this helpful for any of you waiting.

I believe you can get Black Copper without prestige. Just needs to be SX.

My Black Copper vehicle is now 2 weeks away. Today, I talked with the dealer and picked out some accessories:

- Cross Bar
- Mudflaps
- Floor mats (may be better to buy generic)
- Lighted Scuff Plate Door Entry

The dealer asked me if I was interested in the Ceramic Coating package. It includes the following:
- Lifetime ceramic coating warranty
- Lifetime interior warranty (fading, puncture, etc) for all surfaces including carpet, headliner, seats, plastic surfaces, etc...
- Remote starter that works up to 1 mile away
- Rust proof warranty for lifetime

The price was $4200. I thought that was too much. I have a 3rd party quote for a ceramic coating package for $1900 with lifetime warranty.

I plan to keep the car for 9 years, and then possibly hand down to my then-16yr old son.

What does this group think??? Thanks!
