Thanks. I will ask at the shopI hate pinch weld jacking, there was another thread on this but no floor jack poimts were mentioned. I did a little interweb searxhing but did not come up with anything else.
I usually push my floor jack under the suspension knuckle, as long as there's a nice round spot somewhere to grab. My BMW has a weird plastic rectangle that I'm supposed to insert the jack into, so I had to buy these special rubber pucks with a protruding rectangle to insert in there. Should be able to modify them with a grinder to grab the pinch welds.I change my wheels routinely and never had a problem with jacking on pinch joints, just avoid metal to metal contact
Where did you get themI bought rubber pucks with slots to use while using a floor jack. Worked well and no damage to the pinch welds.
Good point. I have two floor jacks and jack the car up from both sides and place the stand under the sturdiest part of the frame (too lazy the get under the car currently) or actually the differential in a pinch. I never lower the car on the stands, just have them there for safety. The challenge for me has always been trying to negotiate where to place the jack stand after raising the KT with the floor jack.
AmazonWhere did you get them
Jesus, can you even get a jack under there? Probably need a wedge to lift that up!Didn't know those things exist LIFE SAVER need it to lift my son's car without damaging the side skirts

Something like this?I use the front and rear suspension crossmembers with my floor jack to raise the front end then the rear end. I put my jackstands at the reinforced pinch welds at both sides of the vehicle at the front and rear that are in the owners manual where you use the service jack to change a tire. No issues so far. I bought rubber inserts for my jackstands that come to a V and sit right in the pinch weld.
