Order to delivery time

I ordered from there a month before you. Last week I checked, and Lucas said I was the 2nd SX FWD in line (same as 2 months ago). Definitely seems to be a slower moving combo - looking at failcat, they only get like 1 every 5 months. No idea why. I'm assuming I'll get mine around Thanksgiving but who knows.
I placed my order with Kia of Muncie on 6/9 for a GWP SX FWD. I haven't followed up with Lucas for an update but am hoping based on what you said that I'm now first in line. I was just guessing the reason for so few SX FWD drives on failcat was because the majority of people are ordering AWD and that if the orders were there for FWD, they would get more than one every 5 months. I had kind of hoped the FWD would move faster than than the AWD since that seems to be the overwhelming preference but maybe Kia isn't making many FWD.

I actually ordered 6/8, so I think I'm probably 1 spot ahead of you. BUT....Lucas called me this morning because the order ahead of me was just picked up, and he offered it to me because that person backed out of the order. It was super tempting, but I passed because it was butterscotch interior, which isn't my style. Good news is I'm up next, and then it's you. Let's just hope it's not another 3 months before the next FWD is taken...

About to place an order on my 2nd Telly, since first one got in a wreck(wasn't my fault) and I don't want a wreck car.

Wanna go with what I had but contemplating Wolf Grey with Dune Brown interior. (wish they offered Grey/Whitish interior with Wolf Grey exterior)

I'm in the same boat as you. I have a 9/4 ETA but do not have a VIN yet (confirmed by dealer last week and not on failcat yet). There's not much we can do except wait. My dealer is only one state over from the factory plant, so I am hoping they can still meet the ETA but I question that.
Similar situation.

My order was picked up by KFOS in July with a dealer-provided estimated delivery of 15 September. This is a well-regarded mid-size Kia dealer that except at mid-month, has 2 - 4 new Tellys in failcat each day. Unfortunately, none of 'em are mine. Not the biggest deal if it slips a month or two, but the sales guy is confident of his ETA, so I'm happy to plan for a delay and be happy if I'm proved wrong.

If Roger has a good ETA, then you should have the vehicle sooner than he's saying. Not all of them show up in Failcat, unfortunately. He's getting his dates straight from the factory and adding a few days.

Here's another data point:

13 July: Ordered 2022 EX w/tow pack and interior lighting in Fort Walton Beach, FL
14 August: Dealer took delivery.
16 August: Received, purchased, and drove off.

Perhaps our proximity to West Point helped us some? Best of luck my friends - it HAS been worth the wait.

I'm sure Roger is being straight regarding the date, but as the saying goes "there's many a slip 'twixt the cup and the lip."

I think I'm seeing my Telluride on Failcat. Showed up there last night. My order is a little unusual because I didn't add the carpeted floor mats which almost everyone does. The one I'm looking at is an exact match to what I ordered. Hoping my dealer will call me today to confirm ETA. Might be tempted to call later if I don't hear from them. 🙏🙏🙏

I just pick up my new Telly last night! It came a lot quicker than expected for me. Ordered on 7/19 at Destination Kia in Albany, NY showed up on Failcat 8/4 and delivered 8/25. I honestly expected to wait 3-4 months for it to come. Good luck to everyone else!

I spoke to them on an incoming vehicle. Had a 10% markup. They do the same in yours?

I got them to do 5%… which was they best I could find in the anywhere within 3 hours of me. The guy literally told me that that are charging between 5-10% based on whatever they decide to do that day and who you talk to. If you go down the road to Fucillo they are charging a flat $7,500 over with NO negotiation. It’s crazy out there. I figured that even with the mark up (ended up being less than $2,000) it was still less than most of the other vehicles I was looking at and had more to offer. So, I went with it.

You can call them and ask for the VIN # and that way you can confirm or be on the lookout for it.

Halleen in Sandusky. It’s apparently not line - just coincidence!
I also ordered my Telly through them on 07/14. Not in Failcat yet, but got the message from Marla that my ETA is end of October on 08/16.

Ordered from Arapahoe Kia in Colorado on 7/10, picked up in KFOS on 8/12, today received an ETA of 11/13… But my salesman said they have been coming in early so that could change.

Floor mat question....sales guy I talked to said Kia (not the dealerships) requires that those are added to the order. How did you get around that???

He's making it up. My dealership is making me order 2 accessories so I chose the 2 cheapest. Wheel lock $60, and something else for $50. You can get all their accessories for about half off on amazon or aftermarket websites.

Kia doesn't require any accessories be added, though sometimes they do add accessories that were not ordered. It's the dealership that requires floor mats, likely in case the vehicle isn't purchased by the original ordering party and must be sold to someone else.

My dealer did not force me to buy any accessories. I assumed when I ordered my Telluride that it would at least come with carpeted floor mats. I thought all vehicles came with those. Doesn't matter though because I had already decided to buy after market slush mats . Carpeted floor mats wouldn't last long in this part of the country but I would have ordered them anyway if I knew. Would like to switch out mats for special, dressy occasions.

By the way. That was my Telluride. Windows sticker shows NO carpeted floor mats. ETA is still 9/12 but my dealer says it could be here 9/10. Here's hoping...
