• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Love my Telluride but experiencing an issue with my speedometer. On recent road trip was pulled over going 95 mph in a 70 mph zone. My speedometer showed me going 76 mph. Omg not good at all. Stopped for an hour shut off vehicle & it worked for a short time after restart. Ended up using my Google navigation to watch my speed. I see others have had this issue. Just wondering if anyone had it diagnosed and repaired? My kia has less than 7500 miles on it.

My only comment for now is that I have been on this board for over 2 years and do not recall seeing anyone saying what you are describing. I have seen comments about the digital being different from the analog or being off by a couple of MPH, but not 25.

Now for a question, ignoring your speedo reading, how in god's name were you not aware that you were traveling that fast?

I can't comment on the Speedo issue, as mine has been working fine.

I will say that the Telluride rides so quietly and smooth that I have found myself going faster than I thought I was a few times, especially on my first couple of road trips. ;)

My telluride drives so smoothly you do not notice the speed, also during this trip I was passed numerous times by other vehicles. I have no way of knowing when the speedometer stopped working correctly.

Agree 100%. At least for me, there is some awareness, via external factors, that I am exceeding 90......

Hmmm. Will have to try this approach the next time I'm pulled over! The only issue I have is that mile actual speedo is always 1 mph lower than other indicators such as GPS.

Wondering if anyone else is challenged reading the speedometer. I have no need for the 120 to 160 range, but have trouble seeing the minor variations to know if I an going 72 or 76 etc. Is there a way for a digital readout in the center, like when you set cruise control? 2022 Kia Ex Nightfall

Your model has the 7" info disply in between the analogue guages. It's configuable to display speed. You can monitor it while in adaptive cruise mode. All of this is covered in the manual.
Enjoy the ride.

EX and below have the smaller TFT screen between the gauges. While I think it can also show the speedometer, I'm not positive as I have the 7".
