• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... New ISG auto-off module in development (no more testers needed)

@arattle @Socal949 scheduled delivery of the modules to me is Mon 9/27. They've been coming in a day or two before the first estimated date, so maybe by the end of this week.

@magicia3 thank you. I thoroughly enjoy this kind of stuff and have missed being in the business.

Currently creating documentation for the modules - installation, settings, usage, etc. @arattle @Socal949 I'll have some specific photos and measurement I'd like y'all to take if possible when you install your modules to help make the instructions clear to easy to follow.

Not a problem. I'll make videos for you as well since you don't have yours yet. Just want to avoid re-opening the console, I'm worried enough about removing it once!

Perfect! I will get all the pictures you need. I am on the same boat as @arattle will only like to remove the center dash once if possible 😁😂.

@arattle @Socal949 the modules are with the delivery courier now, so I could get them this afternoon or tomorrow.

The power supply I've been using is no longer available thanks to the global shortages, but there are others available that are just as good, if not better. It'll mean a slight redesign to the module, but nothing major. Once I test one of the modules I'm getting in the next day or two I'll order the first (small) batch of the official version that will be on the market. Once it's fully tested I'll place a large-quantity order and coordinate to get them listed on the Telluride Store.

I've thoroughly enjoyed (and missed) this process! It's humbling to know firsthand what goes into making things like these - everything from PCB design to code design. The original module's program had about 20 lines of code -- the latest version has almost 400(!) and it's a relatively simple device. I can't even imagine how many lines of code a computer processor has embedded.

Edit: the modules just got delivered.

Great job.

Hope you're up to doing it again for the cruise control...

Some more great ideas to keep your mind working:

-Develop automatic wipers for the rest us?
-Update screen to have both front and rear cameras on for SX?
-Write software for horn to play La Cucaracha?

-Update screen to have both front and rear cameras on for SX?
My '20 SX has 360 view, which is all the cameras... I like it in addition to the reverse or forward look depending on whether reverse or drive

Tested the AutoPress Smart Module w/ memory in my Pilot tonight and it works perfect. I did have to change a few lines of code since the circuit I've been using for testing is slightly different from the actual module, however all is well. @arattle @Socal949 I'll work on getting your modules packed up tomorrow night after the kids are in bed and hopefully sent out on Friday.

Note that the module in this video is not the latest version, though the memory function is the same. The only difference between the version seen in the video below and the latest is the addition of audible feedback when the memory is changed, and the ability to change the press duration needed to change the memory.

Nicely done. Looking forward to purchasing this product on the Telluride store soon.

Just wanted to mention that I’m open to suggestions for both the user manual and installation guide. I want both to be as comprehensive as possible, but not overly complicated so the average person can easily follow them.

My only suggestion is on the APSM Install PDF - a pic of step 5 of the completed wire installation would be nice to validate the connections made by the user are correct.

10-4, loud and clear. @arattle and @Socal949 are going to take photos once they install their modules as I don’t yet have a Telluride I can take photos of. I’ll also have additional photos of the install process added to the Installation Manual.

i agree...a couple photos and a rough wiring diagram would be nice for us visual learners to help avoid zip tying in the wrong spot or making the connections in the wrong spot...great work by the way
