WHERE CAN I BUY A TELLURIDE SX ASAP?

Hi y'all! You may remember me from earlier this summer -- I bought a 2021 glacier white Telluride SX (with nightfall prestige package) in June 2021 and four weeks later, I was in an accident. After many weeks of insurance drama (and a lot of support from this group!), the car was finally considered a total. NOW I'm in the process of trying to find a new 2022 Telluride SX which is proving to be a huge challenge! I'm in Nashville but willing to travel --- Ohio, Michigan, Tennessee, Kentucky, Alabama, Georgia, etc. Ideally I'd like the the 2022 glacier white Telluride SX (with nightfall prestige package with *no entertainment system*) but I can be open to moss green and black alternatives given it's already been a hard time to find what I want! I'm on a list via the dealership in Ohio (where I bought my first one) but still don't have a VIN and worried the car won't get here until many more months. Ideally, I'd like to get my new Telluride ASAP.

Any ideas / dealerships you know that get Telluride SX often, etc? Thank you!

hopefully everything is smooth sailing from here. I know it is out of your search area but try i25 in Colorado. They are high volume dealer and arrange transport to all over the country. They are MSRP plus 695 doc fee. Good luck!

Did you buy the totaled from your insurance? It looks like +80% of it is damage free. Which means when sold as parts = LOTS OF

Another option to consider is to call a large number of dealers and talk to the KIA sales manager, tell the manager what colors, etc you are willing to accept, and ask for an immediate call if a car comes in and the buyer backs out of the deal.

I placed an order last Wednesday and was told it would be 5-7 months. On Thursday, I got a call from the dealer saying the exact Telluride I wanted had come in and the buyer had to back out of the deal (it was a refundable deposit) because of some financial issues. There were other orders ahead of me at the dealership but no one with an order for that configuration. I bought the car on Monday, 5 days after placing an order.

Of course, some dealers want a substantial markup over sticker. I was able to place the order at sticker and that's what I paid on Monday.

Seriously, since you need it right now, you have to play the lotto. Check Fail Kitty Kat to search inventories and call every dealer you’re willing to visit (focus on MSRP dealers first, of course), call and ask if anyone backed out of a sale.

Odds are high you’re gonna have to buy from a dealer charging above MSRP.

Local dealer in my area sells them off the lot. Now they sell in a day or two after arrival. And then there is the pesky. $10,000 dealer markup! ASAP = dealer markup, its just a matter of how much. Even with the high markup, they are selling fast. Paramount KIA in Asheville. I avoided them, as there is no freakin way I would pay $10K over MSRP.

I'm retired, I'd rather spend that $10K going to New Zealand, or whatever.

We spontaneously got a call Thursday morning that the Kia of Murfreesboro (TN) got one in and it was 'first come, first serve'. WE were the first ones there so this car is ours! So pumped!
