• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Telluride sx lift and larger tires

Just wanted to update. Brought car to dealership after tires and lift kit installed and they fixed my alignment problem. 265/50/20 tires work great.
Do you have the factory tow package?

Figured I’d show a few pics of mine. We just picked up the car on Saturday.
I installed the Truxxx lift last night and put the new wheels/tires on. Still need to get an alignment but they’re scheduled way out there right now.
Tires are Cooper Rugged Trek, 265-60-18’s. Wheels are Niche Vosso’s. Love the wheel tire combo.
There is still a bit of rubbing. May need to pull the wheel liner and grind down some sheet metal. We’ll see how that goes.
This thing looks amazing now.

I have this same color 2022 EX night fall prestige with tow but with 20” rims and I’m looking to put 265/50R20 all terrain on it with the same lift hopefully no rubbing. Also swapping Axel back part of exhaust for better sound

I have a 2020 SX AWD that has been in the shop for 4 days, as the Truxxx lift has caused the rear shocks to be maxed out. When driving the vehicle around the block there is an irritating clunking noise. The shop has followed the directions to a T on 2 separate occasions. They've contacted Truxxx for advice multiple times (and even spoke with the owner), contacted Kia, and had outside technicians look at the issue. Nothing has helped. If anyone has advice it would be greatly appreciated.

Ditch the tow package suspension which consist of not so great, faulty, short lifespan "self adjusting" shocks and softer springs.

It's an ok system at best, even when it's working properly.

In general, "standard" shock absorbers have a very difficult and very important job which is to keep a vehicles suspension under control. The "tow package" adds more duties to the shock absorbers job. They now have to aid in not only supporting the vehicles static ride height but it also has to adjust the vehicles active ride height. So essentially they are now a jack of all trades and a master of none.

Re-check/ tighten rear sway bar end links. If one is slightly loose it'll clunk.

Love the way the smaller wheel looks with the bigger tire, I am running about the same tire diameter but with the stock 20's. Thinking about going to a smaller wheel. Did you sell your 20's? If so what where people willing to pay? Also is there anything you would change about your set up?

Is the clunking coming from the front or rear? Totally different applications and require different trouble shooting approaches. If you can give a little more info that would help with suggestions. I have fixed a number of different problems on these lifts but each solution is specific to where the issue is originating.

Like those 18" wheels. Did you sell the 20" that came with your SX? Also, do you have a pic showing a good angle of the Truxx 2" lift?

Yes I sold the stock 20s to another member on here.

I don’t have any pics of the lift kit installed. I’m sure If you search on the forum you’ll find some

I'm going with Nitto Ridge Grappler 265/60 18". I'm staying with 18" but bigger wider tire to get good traction off-road camping and I like the silver rims.
Did you keep your OEM 18” wheels? Any pictures? I’m looking to stay with my OEM 18” LX wheels with the exact tires you are going with.

What offset are the 18 wheels?

DO NOT USE THE TRUXX SWAY BAR EXTENSIONS! Both bent on me and passenger side sway bar bent. Caused the axle to be damaged and pop out. Kia service told me the extensions are not needed. If you have more questions, I'm happy to answer.
I think this is happening to mine right now they want me to remove back to factory how did you fix so the lift could stay?
