  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... We purchased a new Telluride white pearl with beige interior. We were so happy to find this combo on the lot because the dealer said most of the white ones they get in have black interior. We didn't want that living in Fl. I hunted on the internet and found a dealer @ 50 min. away and called to see if they still had it. The rep said they did and if we were coming he would take the key and put it in his pocket so no-one could show it. It has the 20 inch wheels. making the car taller. That made it harder for me to get in, so since I am 70 now we opted to get the running board installed esp. with increasing age. We were also lucky that they could install the hitch we wanted right away and my husband drove it home with everything we wanted
already installed.

It is a learning curve to figure out all the bells and whistles technology on this. Our last new car was a 2010 Volkswagon Jetta and it is old school, key in ignition etc. I havent't driven it by myself yet and we have had over 4 mo. I was just asking my husband today how do you start the car again. I have never done it. I think I will have to make a memo on my phone to refer to. Having 2 cars in the driveway one behind the other, we switch the cars every other week or so. So that both get used for lubrication purposes. My husband takes good care of all cars we have owned. He tells me that it is not good for a car to sit too long without being driven.

Because of all electronics and UVO cell connectivity, definitely should get a battery charger/maintainer to use regularly as well if you don’t drive very often.
