Joining the Club?

Hey everyone,

My family is expanding (twins on the way) and I am looking to join the Telluride club. We are located in AZ and they are selling like crazy here. I did find a dealer that will do custom orders through Kia, but they charge a markup. I'm not sure if I can get around this, so I might just bite the bullet.

We are trying to decide between the EX Premium with Nightfall and the SX with Nightfall. Trying to justify the upgrade to the SX (don't really want to add the Prestige package if we can avoid the extra costs there).

We are most interested in the Wolf Gray exterior color and brown seats. Very excited to get the order placed and being our journey!

We currently have a 2018 Nissan Rogue. It’s a great car, but just will not have enough storage for the family.

I went through a dealer in MN (don’t think they typically do out of state deals) and got the SX prestige / nightfall. More than I was initially looking to spend, but got it at MSRP with a small dealer package added on for some interior coating and rust stuff. Knowing how much we love using salt on roads up here, it will be welcome.

However, with the insane warranty they add on, I can easily justify keeping this for many years to come. That, and it is everything I’ve wanted in an SUV. My Sorento was a little too van-like and small for what I needed. The Telluride checks all of my boxes and comes with a huge amount of features I’m going to have to learn how to use. (2016 Sorentos didn’t have much.)
