If you want suicide doors, the only vehicle outside of those made by Rolls Royce would be the Lincoln Continental...
Well! There's always this! Thanks so much for responding. I appreciate the link to the Continental but in the market for the crossover so looks like i will be sticking with the Telluride for now.
That would be me for one. Never would I ever purchase a car with suicide doors.maybe there's a demographic of people who don't like that kind of thing.
too dangerous? That would be me for one. Never would I ever purchase a car with suicide doors.
I've always heard them call "suicide" doors for a reason, so yeah I suppose that's part of it but now I just don't like they way they look/work. I feel the same way about the gull doors on the Tesla. Fine for some but I'll take normal doors please.too dangerous?
its another one of those styling things. you don't like quad exhaust pipes or suicide doors so it sounds like you're more about functionality than style when it comes to cars.I've always heard them call "suicide" doors for a reason, so yeah I suppose that's part of it but now I just don't like they way they look/work. Suicide doors I do not like. Quad exhaust pipes I just don't care about. I'm fine with or without them but yes, I am very much in the function over style camp.its another one of those styling things. you don't like quad exhaust pipes or suicide doors so it sounds like you're more about functionality than style when it comes to cars.
I'll get my sugar daddy right on that.Well! There's always this!

Good points...Aside from the safety issues I think one problem with suicide doors is they have to be opened wider than regular doors for the passengers to access the seat.
That's fine on $100k+++ cars that are rarely driven but a family car that will see 8 year olds climbing in and out of it in tight parking spots at supermarkets it would be a disaster of door dings, dents, and scratches.
now , now , now it can be whatever people want it to be .............a fully spec'd SXL could be a psuedo Lux alt to a RR or X5/X7 with a few mods ..................dont be a grumpySome people want SUICIDE doors, some people want to MURDER OUT their Tellmeride. This is a FAMILY SUV for Christ's sakes!![]()
