Order to delivery time

I feel bad reading some of the accounts of dealers tacking on extra charges or folks placing orders and after months of waiting they may not have a VIN yet or they don't know when they will get their cars. I was very fortunate I placed my order on 10/13/21, my salesman send me a conformation on 10/22/21 that Kia was processing my order and I took delivery on 12/8/21.

Maybe the colors and features you order have something to do with how long it takes. The Telluride is a joy to own.

There's no way that was a full order production It must have been one that was already on the way or that they got from another dealership.

Well the salesman sure went thru an almost 8 weeks of deceptions and lies and mailing me documents to update me on the progress of an imaginary build.

I guess maybe his commission was based on how many lies he told...

It’s possible. I had an option today to put an order directly into the KFOS system because they don’t have any EX lined up and they’re allocated two. I’m not willing to pay a 5k markup so I had to pass. Anyway point is, he could have gotten lucky

Wow your dealership must get more allocations mine only released seven this month and I'm still 17th in line and ordered on Oct 19th.

They were getting around 7-9 each month before Nov of 2021! Nov 5 and Dec only 3!

Ok I ordered this exact same thing on 10/8 and my dealer came back and told me that Kia wasn't offering the butterscotch anymore or it was discontinued yadda yadda yadda so I upgraded to the SXP for Dune Brown and now I feel played.

Ok I ordered this exact same thing on 10/8 and my dealer came back and told me that Kia wasn't offering the butterscotch anymore or it was discontinued yadda yadda yadda so I upgraded to the SXP for Dune Brown and now I feel played.

You definitely got played! Wanted that extra money for the prestige!

Placed our order for a Wolf grey, prestige, nightfall, tow Monday with i25. Yeah I am number 77 in line lol. However, we are in no rush for a new car. So we don't mind the wait, plus ... we didn't want to pay over MSRP. The dealers here in AZ are horrible, some are charging 10k above MSRP.

We must be the same person! We ordered the same thing (EX model) on 12/16 from i25 and we live in AZ! The dealer markups here are no joke and I will gladly take my business elsewhere!

Yeah they are no joke! The cheapest we found in state was a dealer in Prescott, they were only "4k above MSRP" and they were a small dealership and she told me it would take over a year if I ordered through them

Oh my gosh…a year?! That’s wild! I had Peoria Kia try to sell me a 2020 Telluride off the lot for $55k, and they could order what we wanted for us if we committed that day for $55k + trading in my car which is valued at almost $10k…so $65k! I was appalled.

I picked up my telluride today, so that would put my order to delivery time at 266 days.
