Order to delivery time

I just got notified that our car is in (right at 3 month mark- 1 month longer than we were told). Unfortunately, I’m out of town so I can’t pick up for a few days.
As for experience, I think they were subpar. I definitely was doing most of the communication to get updates. But I know I jumped the gun prematurely b/c our house of 5 had already been down a car for a month . I should have just went with Hendricks since we have bought our last car from them but I didn’t listen.

3 months? That's not too terrible at least. I hear you, and that was our dilemma as well. We experienced a total loss on our vehicle the beginning of Jan, and we're a family of four with no car. Fortunately, we worked something out with a family member for the time being, but it is a sucky situation to be in. And yet, I still rather wait than buy with Keffer. They really did rub me the wrong way. Maybe you'll feel better about it once you actually have your car

Considering they get about 10 Tellurides a month, I wouldn't count on even 90 days, let alone 30. Perhaps their mark-ups are driving people away so you could possibly get picked up in KFOS quickly.

I wouldn’t stick with this order. Hope your deposit is refundable. Call around to other dealers, you can order one over the phone. You might have to travel to pick it up but you might save a lot of markup too. Don’t settle for these mark up dealers. Fight back!

You are SO lucky. We ordered the exact same car from the same dealer 11/17/21. Still no update/VIN. Tawny told us this week we were 7th in line. We also have to buy some protection package .

Ordered 10/11/21 took delivery 2/1/22! SX in GWP/Butterscotch. So I would say hogwash!

Highly dependent on dealer. I ordered Aug 18th and my VIN just appeared on Failcat yesterday with ETA of 3/10. So basically a 7 month wait…

Not sure how others are getting their vehicles in 2-3 months. People point to some dealers being “high volume” but you’d think the volume would be proportional with the wait list so I don’t really get how there should be that big of a difference.

I just passed the 4 month mark with no firm update or order accepted into KFOS as far as I know. Ordered 9/21/21 from Lev in Framingham, MA.

I ordered a couple weeks ago from Lev Kia and not expecting anything relatively soon lol

I was quoted 3 months. Another person on this forum ordered from the same dealer 2 months before me and got their's in 3 months. I on the other hand have now been waiting 8 months as of 2/4. They are unfortunately a very low volume dealer I found out after the fact. I'm not in need of a new vehicle fast, but was hoping to have an ETA by now. Check out the order to delivery time threads and you will see lots what the different trends are with higher volume dealers lower volume dealers

Are you a repeat customer? I ordered 9/27 and mine is supposed to be here soon from same dealer. But it was supposed to be here a month ago, I got bumped off for a month for some reason. No biggie, just curious what makes the difference. I just ordered a pretty plain S model. Your time is faster than most anyones. Factory swapping things around maybe.

Sorry to hear that. I was told the dealer allotment plummeted right when we ordered and that my order was just perfectly timed to be the day before the November order pick up window started with only a couple ahead of me. I can confirm I was not forced to buy any coverage package and paid exactly sticker. It was disappointed to hear they started that practice of forcing the paint protection which in my opinion is fake snake oil product.

Ordered an S in Everlasting Silver with AWD and tow hitch on 1/17/22 at MSRP and was told 4 to 6 months wait. I was also told I may get a 23 instead of a 22 and that the price has increased by 300 each year and they have no reason to believe it will be much more. My dealer is in Northern Indiana. They told me yesterday that I am #11 in line, but didn't answer my question about how many vehicles they usually get a month. Next communication from them will be when Kia picks up my order.
