• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
    If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Adding grille lights; which fuse (or how to power)?

I ordered a grille light kit for my Telluride, thinking that I would easily be able to add it with an Add-a-circuit on a fuse in the engine fuse box. I was going to look for a fuse that is active when the vehicle is in Accessory 2 mode (two presses on the start button without foot on brake).

I can't find one though; the ones that look like the best candidates are POWER OUTLET 2 or POWER OUTLET 3, and some testing showed that they turn on when the vehicle is in Accessory 1 (one press of the start button).

Am I missing something? Is there a better place to draw power from? I'd very much like to avoid splicing any factory wires.

Any of the ones labeled Power outlet make the most sense to me they are all 20A. I would just pick the one you are least likely to use a lot. Although the momentary horn circuit might be fun :)

Here’s a reference on what is what: Fuse Box Diagram Kia Telluride (2020-..)

1 is behind the third row
2 is front
3 is the center console for the second row
(Makes no sense to me, I would have gone 1, 2, 3 in one direction or the other).

I tried today; couldn't get the bumper off without breaking the first clip; so I buttoned it back up and going to shelve this project. To those who got the bumper off with no problems, I don't know how the heck you did it (and yes I did find a remove the hidden screw in the wheel well).

So frustrating that the area in front of the grill is blocked without removing the entire bumper; that piece of plastic there should be.

Don’t give up. It does help to have another person help hold it. When I removed my front bumper to add the fog lights I was a little scared to break it. It does take some force to get it to pop off. Hope they would have made it easier but unfortunately there is no other way. 👍🏽

Naw; what I'm saying is I did try my hardest to do it without breaking anything....broke the first clip on driver's side, and decided to call it quits there before I did more damage.

Finished this up today;
