I don’t disagree with you. But I am going to afford them benefit of the doubt at this moment. They’ve communicated well with me and addressed various parts that I wanted on the build that aren’t available from the factory but we’re able to be ordered through their parts group. So for right now I’ll hold tight until this time next month after KFOS closes. I should absolutely have a delivery date by then and maybe even a VIN. If not, that’s when I ratchet up the pressure a notch.

My Sales Guy just sent be notice the Telluride arrived (1 day early from last update). We're working on timing on when to pick-up with crappy Chicago weather having the dealer black-out the Kia Emblems. Pretty much exactly 4 months from order to Dealer Delivery

Dang I thought I was waiting a while. I ordered 9/20 and still waiting. I’ve been second in line to be picked up for a month and a half. My dealership has been averaging 8 SX’s a month and they’ve only assigned 1 SX VIN this month. Only 2 VINs this month total
One of the vehicles from my dealership got a VIN 12/23 and it still hasn't arrived on the lot.
It’s so hard to find a pattern.

That's awesome, congrats! I gave them a call and they said there's a $5,999 adjustment on top of MSRP to order. Did you run into the same thing?

Oh no! There was an addendum but it wasn’t that much. Seems everyone has put an additional addendum or gone up on the ones already in place.

WHAT? Yea thats nonsense. I bought one last year in Feb and I paid MSRP cause thats what they promised. I'm waiting for another one this yr and I'm promised MSRP once again, so hope they stick to that...

I have an addendum and was fully aware of it starting off. Difference is, my car is due to arrive in 2-3 weeks and I ordered Jan 25 2022. BUT my addendum wasn’t 5,999!! Called to make sure I would still be getting what I was quoted to begin with and they confirmed. These markups are really ridiculous. Smh.

I ordered 9/25 and also still waiting to even get an update. I feel like if I ordered a glacier white, gray, or silver I would have already received it! That seems like the only ones my dealership is getting vins for.

Hello All! I ordered my Kia telly SX V6 AWD prestige dark moss with dune brown interior on 10/15. Kia has not picked up my order yet and the dealer has no information. Is there anyway to look or see when this may happen?

I too ordered mid September from Jake Sweeney Kia. I ordered Glacial White, dune interior, prestige, nightfall, with tow. The sales manager went to school with my son and thought that might give me an edge, but I’m still waiting to learn if my order has been accepted by the factory. It’s been five months….

Adding in my timeline here since I obsessively checked this while I was waiting!

10/2/22: Ordered from Kia of Clarksville (Indiana)
Mid-December: ETA of early March
2/11: VIN on Failcat
2/18: Picked my beauty up, the day before my birthday!

Justin (who is on this forum - hi!) took our initial order and helped during the waiting process, Jorge helped on pickup day, and I've forgotten the finance person's name already but he was so helpful. They were all three great and I would definitely recommend the dealership. We drove down from Indy to avoid a markup and it was worth the drive!

how do you know if Kia "picked up your order" and what is failcat?

Your dealer should let you know when your order was accepted by the mfr- KFOS. Failcat is an online site that posts the VIN numbers by the factory. You can sort the daily list many ways including your dealer and the trim of those orders. Failcat.com

I was told $1K over when I ordered but it ended up being at MSRP when I arrived to pick up. I didn't complain. When we decided to order I called around the Indy area (we're on the west side) but everyone was marking up by at least $3K.
