2.2mi is probably not enough for that to be accurate.

My experience on mostly smart driving mode on a FWD is more around 25-26 with mixed city/hwy driving. On a highway trip mostly flat and on cruise I did get a stretch of 27.8 mpg on a 2hr drive, but that was mostly because the conditions were just right.

Yeah kinda of hard to believe that’s accurate. At 2.2mi and got to 35 . I’ve never gotten close to that I think the most was mid to high 20s

I use an independent app to track my mileage. I always find what the Telluride reports to be a bit optimistic compared to my actual calculations from fill-ups.

I've had a full tank over 30mpg on a trip, calculated with data from the pump. Also had one less than 18 (probably due to lots for idling time while warming up in cold weather.)

I think the accuracy of the trip computer’s mpg calculations may depend on this vapor canister, the weather, and timing.

I read that the vehicle can’t predict how much vapor is in the fuel system nor when the charcoal canister purges. But this older article does give a tip at the end on how to reset it with the way you fill at the pump. I think by “over pumping” a little after the pump clicks you might be forcing the vapor recovery system to purge which will then make the calculations more accurate on that tank of gas.

Although the most accurate solution is still a receipt from the pump, an odometer reading and simple math.

I’m averaging about 25 on smart mode and I’m extremely happy with that! I’m sure I could do better but It’s definitely wayyy better than my previous GMC Yukon.

30 minute drive yesterday and was able to manage getting around the same 25mpg mostly highway.

I have an SX AWD model and have been consistently getting 1-2 mpg lower from the pump calc than from the car computer. Has anyone else had this issue? Over a lifetime of ~6k miles I'm only getting 18.5 mpg. Granted lots of city driving, but still below sticker. Thoughts? Anyone else have lower than expected MPGs?

I'm mostly getting about 22-24 mpg, about 2/3 highway miles, all on comfort. My car will often tell me that I'm getting a mile or two better mileage than that, but I track it separately so I know my numbers are right.
