Murray kia order to delivery time

I’d be nervous. I may not go today. Worst case Friday. Sales manager is off tomorrow so he says. Is your salesperson still there or did he get the boot. I would call him or her and try to get a straight answer. Good luck. Just remember Buyer Beware. Based on current events and tactics the worst is yet to come for everyone dealing with this money greedy abuse.

Here at the dealership today. 7995 over sticker. I said nope and I am currently waiting for my deposit back. They’re excuse is that they bought Murray Kia’s inventory at market price which is 10k over right now. Bunch of BS good luck everyone. They also have to mail you a check as well which takes weeks. Just another blow

What a load of BS. I have a hard time believing they paid a $10k markup to Murray for the orders currently in the system since they have yet to be delivered. That is what I expected of them, however, based on my experience with their Allentown location. I will make sure never to give them a dime of my money either for sales OR service.

On a side note, I hope this drives everyone in the area to Bergey's instead...maybe this will bump their allocations over Raceway in time.

Yeah that's BS and I am livid right now. Waited 8+ months for my car which is arriving soon to be told its at 8k markup. What a joke. I'll give Bergeys a call tomorrow..
 
I would definitely reach out to a news outlet if I were any of you especially if your order was picked up while still under Murray.

There are enough people that this is happening to that it could get some attention.

I feel like this is just so unethical but they don’t car because if you walk away they have someone else waiting to purchase it.

Roger, thank you for your help while you were there and nobody here is faulting you. You have enough integrity to leave this cluster because the way Raceway is behaving, they probably wanted you to tell your customers yourself that they now have to pay 15-20% over MSRP.

Folks, this should be referred to the AG and FTC. I’m going in tomorrow, and the best way to handle this is to shame them on their social media. Fight back, as negative reviews is likely the only way to have an impact. I called yesterday and spoke to someone just asking where we were in line and if a VIN was issued and was told he needed to check with the manager and get back to be in a few minutes. Never got a call back, so I called again and left a voicemail in mailbox of someone I have no idea.

If you paid via credit you can try emailing cory@racewaykiapa.com for the refund. He was able to issue the refund back to the card immediately.

Definitely don’t bomb anyone in reviews except those who are responsible. I’m proud of Roger for walking away, assume he probably did it for ethical reasons. This is a lot considering the nature of the car sales industry.

The best thing to do is to write the review and the share so we can report it as helpful. I still haven’t heard back from anyone. When I sold cars, this type of treatment of customers would get me in serious trouble.

The worst of this is that they’re going to price people out of the market, with rates where they are. Marking up a vehicle 20% plus taxes and tags means a much larger payment. We enter into this agreement to purchase by place the deposit and know what our ballpark payment would based on money down at MSRP and our very good credit score. We’re fortunate enough to have multiple lawyers in our family, and connections to much more ethical dealerships. Maybe it’s a blessing in disguise, but it leaves a very sour taste in my mouth for future purchases with any dealership.

I’m currently furious. I have been told “any order allocated to the dealership after 4/25 was not a customer order and will be sold at market rate”.

What does that mean allocated to the dealership? As in picked up by KFOS? Order arrived at dealership?

Allocated, based on my understanding, is whenever the vin is assigned. So we are being told we’re not customers of this dealership anymore.
