I ordered my SX on 2/26, and I was told the lead time would be 4-6 months. I called my dealer last week, but he said the order wasn't picked up yet so I couldn't get exact ETA. Does anyone who placed an order at similar time or later have ETA or the VIN number? Just curious about what's going on with my order...

I ordered on 2/15/22 with a dealer in Fort Worth, Texas we were given a timeframe of 3-4 months, my order has not been picked up yet.

I just ordered mine from Gossett today. Gravity Gray SX w/ Towing. Put down the $1k down payment - a little nervous about this whole process! Did you get a VIN from the failcat website, or did Gossett send you updates? Thank you!

I finally called them. I have not seen anything on failcat.

And I was told “ HOPEFULLY by July we will be seeing it.”

I also just realized that you can go to Gossett Kia’s website and see all of their “coming soon” vehicles.

Usually shows up day after the vehicle is painted. You should be able to see it in failcat now.

I have a question. If the VIN is assigned after paint why does it take 2 month to get delivered? I wouldn't think assembly would take 2 months. Any comments?

Ordered ours on 9/30/21 and were told 4-6 months WE bugged our salesperson, Chris, in February as we were planning a roadtrip in March and were hoping to do so in our new ride. Chris said it wasn't "picked up" yet Got a call March 12 that it was finally picked up and should be in end of May/early June WE called the dealer today for an update. Chris was off so we spoke to someone else. They said "Chris hasn't called you yet? It's in transit and should be here sometime this month" He gave us the VIN. I immediately checked the VIN on Failcat and saw it was created on 4/27 Not happy with Chris, but freaking FINALLY it will be here! Now to plan another roadtrip

Where I’m the country are you located? Would you be willing to share dealer info?? I am also dealing with a Chris that I am not very happy with. Could be a total coincidence but you never know!

There are a lot of variables. Mine took about 35 days after failcat. This included completing the build (about a week), testing (another week), and transportation (2 weeks). Depending on where you are, transportation can take quite a bit longer - not the actual transit but loading/unloading, trucking/rail/boat transfers. Currently, your vehicle can spend 3-4 weeks just waiting to be picked up from West Point due to trucker shortage.

I placed my order on February 3rd. It is due in on April 19th. It was loaded onto the rail today. We shall see how long it tales to travel from Atlanta to Albuquerque via train and then transport to El Paso.

I placed my order with $1000 deposit on 12/13/21. The srealership so far has given me no information whatsoever. I keep asking for updates and all they can tell me is the only news is no news. It's been almost 6 months!

I am picking up my new Telluride tomorrow!! Ordered 3-15-2022 with Original ETA 5-15-22. On failcat 4-30-22, delivered today 5-9-22. Not the trim I originally wanted its an S trim but was what dealer had allocated at MSRP and we were down to one vehicle so I took it! I’m excited, I’ve never even test drove one.

Congrats! So exciting... my question is if it came off Failcat once you picked it up? I keep a watch on mine as it showed up on 4/30/22 as well but it hasn't made it to the dealership yet. TIA and hope you're enjoying your new ride

Yep, checking every few days. My eta for "body in" is 6/8, paint 6/9, trim 6/10, and production completion on 6/11, so I'm assuming it'll hit failcat later this week.

Sounds like we have the same dealer.... I ordered 3/8 SX AWD P White with dune brown. He told me 90 days max.. then changed it to 120 days last month. Doesn't update me at all... I am pretty sure my order still has not been picked up.

Probably the million dollar question and I am new here so please forgive my ignorance. 500+ pages is a lot to sort through....has anyone identified which dealerships in the Colorado/Utah etc area seem to be fastest at fulfilling orders?

How do you know the different ETAs for paint, trim, etc? Did your dealer share that information>

Curious what types of updates your dealerships have been able to give you on your order? I ordered at SX Wolf Grey Dune Brown N/T/P w cross bars on 10/8, it was picked up around 3/15 and I still don’t have any updates. 2.5 weeks ago my dealer told me he got a status that “MSRP was allocated and parts are in” but it still isn’t in failcat and there isn’t a VIN. I feel like I’m not getting all the information possible but would love thoughts from your experiences…

I was about to go with Sansone and pay the markup but that day I contacted Nutley about my order, my sales rep told me about a cancellation with the same specs (EX - N/P) ordered but different color so I took it.
