Order to delivery time

I ordered a dark moss/black/ex/pre on June 3rd from Gossett. I see one with those same specifications on failcat picked up on 6/18. It's a pretty rare combo apparently so I'm praying it's mine, but I understand how unlikely that is.

I keep hearing the last of '22 has been picked up, but they're still coming through on Failcat. Today is the 1st so I'm curious to see if the cut off was at the end of the year. I'm fine with a 23, but I'm concerned about a price hike for the same specs.

Failcat is a trailing indicator - i.e. it updates as the vehicle goes into paint. There are many 22's in the queue waiting to be built. I imagine 22's will show up until late August. The plant will shut down for 2 weeks for retooling and 23's should start showing up in failcat in September with vehicles showing up on lots late September or early October. Dealers cannot enter 22's in kDealer anymore. But my feeling is that if they have more inventory to complete them, they will still pull some 22's out of the existing queue and build them. I was picked up after KFOS closed last month and am getting a 22. Only the dealers will know what KFOS does this month if/when it opens and they will post what is happening on the forum.

Mine finally arrived from Kings Kia. Will pick up tomorrow. Gravity Gray SX prestige NF Dune Brown interior. Ordered 12/31/21. So right at 6 months. Got it for MSRP

Thank you for that explanation! My guess is I'm getting a 23 then lol

Placed our order for a WG SX Prestige with Dune Brown interior on February 12 for MSRP. Was notified today that ETA is July 15, if all goes well. At time of order was quoted 10 month wait time. Sounds like we got lucky. Should come in at around five months. But I’ll believe it when I see it. Just wanted to let all of you know there is still hope. There is a chance you might get yours sooner than later.

Happy for you!! I hope everyone has this turn around time.

Hello, this is my first time posting, so hopefully I'm not asking a repeat question. I placed an order for an SX FWD Everlasting Silver w/ Butterscotch interior on Nov 20. Was told 6 month average. By May (6 months later), I hadn't heard anything so asked about it. Was told ETA of 8/15, which is ok I guess, just more wait time. My question is in the status codes. I read some where about that FA is Factory Authorized and TN is related to Transit and occurs after the cars been manufactured. What's weird is the screenshot I got shows:

FA - 08.15.22
FA - 06.10.22
TN - 06.01.22

Why are there two FA dates and does the TN mean something else here? Why is it before the FA date?

Hi, where did you pick your car up from? I’m pretty sure my car is just sitting in Georgia waiting for transport. Is it an option for me to go pick it up myself?
Picked my Telluride up yesterday. 4 months - not bad. Took a train 5 hours and drove back. Dealer filled the tank so that was nice. Had a bunch of time to get aquatinted with the car.

I picked it up at a dealer in NY. You are gonna have to wait until your car arrives at your dealership. No way around that.

FINALLY! After waiting since September my Telly will be delivered this Saturday. I’ve never been good about waiting for something I really wanted. But this was a real test. As we get near the end of the 22 run I am going to get my Telly. The wait I hope was worth it, my fear is that it will have issues and I don’t want to even think about that because it’s the nightmare to this long wait. To everyone else best of luck. I hope we all come out of this with the absolute best vehicle in this class. I can’t wait to see it! I’m going to retire in December and I’ve been driving a co car since 1980, this will be the first brand new vehicle ever titled in my name. God if you are watching please make this a great experience!

FA-Factory Allocated ETA is generated

VA-Vehicle Allocated Telluride assign to be built get Vin #

TN-Telluride assigned final inspection and Transport tending(waiting for Transport)

IT-InTransit means Telluride is on the road to dealership

DS- Telluride is in stock ready for Pre-Delivery Inspection and get picked up by client.

Looks like dealer sent you caca (without seeing the screenshot)
Nothing counts until you get a VIN. For an eta of 8/15, you should be seeing a VIN fairly soon. The closer you are to the factory, the closer the VIN shows up in relation to the ETA

My dealer told me my status was PA (port allocated). VIN 6/18/2022. Many other VINs after mine have been transported to the dealer here in Texas. Not sure why mine is the odd status. Dealer said it will probably show up at the dealer without moving through other statuses?

PA stands for Port Allocated it is a step after the car is made but before it is pending transport to dealer

My dealer delivery date keeps changing. The vehicle was final inspected last week and was scheduled to be delivered this Saturday but I just learned that was pushed back another week. The vehicle was built mid June. What’s going on?

You answered your own question in your post on 6/10. The only thing that is changed is that it seems to be worse now.

Thanks. I'm guessing the screenshot was a list of several vehicles and their status, but all I got was the status section and thought those dates all related to my car. If they are dates for several cars, that would make more sense.

Wondering if people can start posting when they ordered and when they received their Kia (or at least the vin).

I ordered an sx prestige with tow on March 13. Nothing yet.

Many of the threads here have gotten hare to follow woth with the side conversations, it would be helpful to just keep this to dates for people’s reference.
I ordered on Dec. 16, 2021. Still waiting. My dealer says they will be receiving 2023’s from this point forward but can’t tell me when the will start receiving them. CRAZY!!!!!

Kia Factory has not released any final packages and/or cost increases as of yet for the 23 models. Therefore, the dealers cannot convert any previous 22 orders into 23 orders until the update with the factory. Dealers cannot submit new orders into KDealer for 23 until the system updates with the new trim packages and colors. The factory is still making the final 22 models and will be making them for the next month or so, then they will shut down for 2 weeks for re-tooling. I would guess that the earliest anyone would see 23 models delivered to dealers would be October or November. If you ordered from a low volume dealer, it will be likely a while before you hear any news.
