New light bar

We‘ve been finding ourselves out in the woods after dark lately with camping and huckleberry picking. I added a light bar to the front today. Haven’t seen it at dark yet, but my Jeep has a similar bar and it’s really nice.
I machined the mounts myself and am ready happy with the fit. I’ll send them out for black anodize eventually.

Perfectly fits the width of the grill. Could you post the link to the light bar order page?

Looks like the bar protrudes from the front edge of the bumper by about an inch. Does it put out a lot of heat when operating? Curious how come you chose not to mount behind the grill for a more discreet look.

A night shot showing light output would be great if you can share when you have it.

Looks like you NEED a bush guard now. Someone carelessly backing into you in a parking lot or street and your sweet lights are toast in 1 second.

If they hit me hard enough to damage the light, they were going to damage more than the light anyway.

The light bar is a 40” curved single row (black edition) from Rough Country.
I put it in front because I wasn’t originally thinking I’d have to remove the whole bumper. I already had the 40” light by that point and I don’t think the 40” would fit behind very well. There would be a lot of blocked light. Maybe if you were to go with a 30”, that would mount better behind.
Haven’t gotten a chance to run it yet, but I assume with the wind blowing thru it, that’ll keep it cool enough to not melt anything.

Didn’t take pictures before I mounted them.
Would have to take the bumper off again to pull them off and take pictures.
Wired to the positive and negative terminals of the battery. Added a remote on/off switch so I didn’t have to go thru the firewall.
