• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... 2023 Kia Telluride Discussion

I’m still of the opinion that a 2023 Palisade is the way to go. I just haven’t seen enough in the release to change my mind. While the 2023 Telly exterior isn’t a complete abomination, it’s a step backward, and the 2023 Palisade is a step forward. Now I’d say it’s neck and neck, and the tie breaker goes to the one I can get the fastest.

If it had power folding mirrors and something like the dune brown interior I probably would have bought a '23 Palisade. Drove one the other day and really liked it, even with the pushbutton shifter. But the mirrors were a deal-breaker for my wife.

In 2022 you could get leather seats on the SEL with a package. Now, for 2023 H-Tex is the only thing you can get on the SEL and XRT. The SE is cloth only; the Limited is the first trim to come in leather. On the Telluride you get leather with the EX and up.

I’ve never had power folding mirrors, so I guess I don’t know what I’ll be missing.

Same, I'm fine without them. We put it an order for a 2023 palisade sel premium and it was picked up in 2 days, although that is not the norm. Gossett hyundai in TN sells them at msrp and I think it's a 2 to 5 month turnaround .

My EX has a button to fold the mirrors. It comes handy for parking in garage. Not sure if there is more to it with SX.

no, nothing more to it than handy for parking. No big deal if you haven't had them. But for those that have had them, and become used to folding them in before entering a 1 car garage, it's hard to go away from them. On its own, it wasn't a deal breaker. But combined with only black interior (or a way too light color that would be trashed with kids), we'll take our '22 SX-P supposed to show up next week.

I realized how big Telluride is only after parking in garage. It is very big in the garage compared to outside on the streets. Our 2 car garage has a wood trim splitting it into 2 halves. There is now way i can park without folding mirrors. SX with 360 surround camera might have helped me a lot. I didn't think about this feature at the time of placing order.

But backup camera helps me to line up the car properly (mirrors closed) to drive into garage. Taking out from the garage is simple. I just need to keep the car in straight line. Car remembers to keep the mirrors closed while backing up from garage. Is there any button to enable backup camera other than engaging Reverse gear?

He’s under the assumption that’s when orders will open for 2023 but it’s speculative as no real information has been produced.

But tonight during the Grammys the new Telluride ads will debut.

Many in this forum have pointed out that Kia is hard launching the 2023 telluride at the Detroit Auto show which starts on 14th Sep. The order guide leak along with Kia website updating Telly 2023 page are in preparation to that

So, with all the criticism the reworked front end is getting, has anyone in the group considered swapping to the first gen front clip? Since the updates seem to be purely cosmetic, I imagine all the mounting points are the same. Just a thought.
