• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Had minor collision front corner- require parts like bumper, skid, headlamp assembly, air duct. All systems working, very drivable. Fearing body shop will take my car in and disassemble, but then report that parts are not available, and they will hold my car for months. Is there a source where I can quickly find out if parts are going to be readily available ? 2022 SX white. I will be grateful for any advice. (shops are NOT willing to check on this. They want the car first!)

Okay it’s going to be easier to just find someone local. Shipping might get expensive. Mind sharing a picture of what the car looks like now

Honestly might be easier to go through insurance. Get a few quotes from different shops and also ask what their turn around time will be. Also if they can locate all the necessary parts. I do have a headlight and might be able to help with the bumper. But like I said shipping….. CA here

Oh okay. Car accident or hit something accidentally? Doesn’t look too bad. You can probably buff the bumper out. Headlight doesn’t look cracked too.

Thanks for comments. we'll see what body shops say. I am certain a few parts need replacement and collision shops indicate many Kia 2022 parts for this car are very long wait, often not available, We shall see.

Hopefully you get some good news! I imagine it will be a while before they can produce extra parts for situations like this. I know you can come across used salvage parts but new parts are harder to come by at least from what I’ve seen.
