However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Order to delivery time

Guess who just found out 2 hours ago that their order was canceled 3 months ago?! ME! There is smoke coming out of my ears at this point. The ordering manager called me and told me this and then proceeded to talk about switching over to a 23. I’ll be traveling the 3 hours back to Memphis to have this discussion in person on Saturday WITH A LIST OF DEMANDS. I don’t care that I’m not the first person this has happened to, I don’t care I’m not the only one. This shouldn't happen to anyone period. Any advice?
Why would they do that? I don 't see anything to gain for them. Even if you decided not to take the car they would have no problem selling it. This doesn't make sense.

I am LIVID!!! I was supposed to have my car last month. I haven’t even received my VIN or ETA. I’m so pissed that 2023s are rolling out the door when 2022s have even finished… My dealer constantly says she has no updates for me and she will tell me when she knows something. Really makes me regret doing this.
Take a deep breath … its worth it, your going to love this car 💕

I took my time to be upset, now I’m ready to have a productive conversation with the dealer. I know for sure it’s worth it and I love telluride I just can’t believe this happened

@abbybell So sorry that happened to you. I was super worried something like that would happen to me as well especially since I was never able to get much information whenever I contacted my dealership. I ended up waiting almost 11 months for my car. Ordered November 1st from Moritz Alliance in Fort Worth. It finally arrived on September 23rd and we picked it up September 26th. Seems like we got one of the last few 2022s coming in to the dealership. It was a long wait that's for sure! Good luck to you!! Hopefully you get answers to your questions!

Get that letter faxed off to South Korea BEFORE your saturday meeting. Include all that info in your letter to the CEO. I guarantee your dealership OWNER (forget the useless manager) will have an answer for you if he knows a letter has been sent to the CEOs in California and South Korea!! And I would DEMAND the dealership owner be at that meeting, not just the manager.

My ordered thru Peak Kia North in 3/2/22 was told about 5-6 mo and the latest news is the car on track to arrive in 2 weeks. I don’t want MY23 so with the roll out new model now I thought for sure order didn’t make the cut. That being said as for advice i don’t know that i would take a 3hr drive but I supposed if you like MY23 then get them to put your order in and of course no ADM.
What did you end up ordering!?

Forgot to post an update...
Finally received my 2022 Telluride on Sept. 23, 2022 after placing the order just after Christmas 2021 with Nutley Auto.

Why are you wasting your time with this dealer still? Going 3 hours away to ORDER a car is insane. There has got to be a closer dealer that will do MSRP. Cut your losses, move on, and don't waste any more time with those idiots if they couldn't even explain how/why your order was cancelled in the first place. You are not a local customer, and are one of countless people trying to buy a vehicle from them. They do not care about you.

Actually we went to the meeting and met with the General manager and Ordering manager. We also got the Regional Sales manager involved. We learned that this was all the fault of my sales rep. They heard our feedback and took it very professionally. They gave us the option to walk away with our deposit or to proceed with a 23. Going also allowed us to see a 23 in person. We decided to order a 23 with a new sales rep and our order is in the same place on the list as it was beforehand. We made the right decision to go see them for the meeting and it ended up working out. We chose Gossett KIA because they never go over MSRP. Everywhere else is up charging and price gouging customers because of the high demand. They do not believe in that. The managers will continue to stay updated on our order to make sure we are taken care of.

Hopefully it works out for you. I spoke with several dealers around me (Ohio) and they all charge MSRP for orders. Heck, one of them charges MSRP for cars on the lot... but you must be local to do business with them.

My 2023 order was placed 9/29. It was picked up 10/3 and i got word yesterday it was delivered to dealer, yesterday, 10/25. I am getting it on Friday!

I had originally placed an order in august. My sales person did some magic and matched me with a port allocation… otherwise i was looking at 9-12 months!

That’s great to hear! I ordered a 2023 EX FWD from EJ Edmonds at Freedom Kia on 10/11 so hoping I’ll be as lucky as you with a quick turnaround! 5 weeks is fantastic- congrats!

My dealer, Hendricks in Cary must do a pretty high volume. I was recently informed that their allotment went up to 40 in the last order cycle, but not sure what has been normal. Is there any sense out there that the conversion to 2023 is behind and now things are moving a bit faster? I'm told by my salesman that we are "continuing to advise people to expect a year... but our allotment went up so we are clearing out orders ahead of you". Ordered 3/12/22. Just looking for grains of hope we might be surprised with a significantly earlier delivery.
