• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... 2023 Kia Telluride Discussion

I remember watching a video of someone installing one themself. If you're decent with some tools, didn't seem difficult at all.
@ScottTell Do you think you could find that video? I have seen it posted elsewhere on this forum that there are not currently any aftermarket hitch receivers that will fit the '23.

What are folks paying on a 2023 model in terms of documentation fee, other dealer fees, etc. (but not including whatever they may buy extra the finance guy)? I'm trying to determine what my total cost will be in MA for my SX-P X-Line that I am getting at MSRP.

Appreciate it.
Probably depends on the state you live in.
I paid in Texas.......
SX-P X-PRO 2023 DkMoss/TerraCotta $54,415.00 MSRP
Carpeted floor mats $210.00
Total $54,625.00
Sales tax 6.25%. $3414.06
Documentary Fee $150.00
Dealer Inventory Tax $94.45
License, Transfer, Title & Reg Fees, Insp $193.00
Total Cash PRICE (OTD) $58,476.51

The dealers inventory tax is intended to reimburse the dealer for ad-valorem taxes on its motor vehicle inventory. The charge, which is paid by the dealer to the county Tax Assessor-Collector, is not a tax imposed on a consumer by the government and is not required to be charged by the dealaer to the consumer.

I actually did not see this tax until after final paperwork already went through or I most likely would have contested it.
With that being said I can live with $94.45.

Which dealer did you purchase from? Looking for MSRP in Texas DFW.

Fort Bend Kia in Rosenberg. I ordered last December so you may have to wait awhile but it also could depend on the trim package you want. There is a site called markup.org that could also help you. I thought someone had mentioned Moritz up by you sold at MSRP. Good luck in your search! I love mine and it was well worth the wait

It finally arrived! Got a surprise call from my salesperson this morning that our Telly just arrived. The prep people don't work on Saturday, so I won't be able to pick it up until Monday. Can't wait. Went by the dealer today to take a look at it. I had not yet seen the Grey/Navy interior. It looks great. Looking forward to picking it up Monday. I ordered from an MSRP dealer in St. Louis.

Here's the timeline:
Ordered MY22 SX-P (Moss Green/Dune Brown) on 2/5 with a $500 refundable deposit.
Updated my order on 10/1 to MY23 SX-P (MLB/Grey/Navy). At that time I was told I was #30 on their list. I started watching failcat closely and saw that their allocation had gone up for the MY23's.
Showed up in failcat on 11/3.
Arrived at dealer on 11/12.

Congrats! Received the same today and thrilled as it arrived early and only have to wait 48 more hours!

hey guys sorry if this was brought up before, but I just watched motormouth review for 2023 Telluride and one of their observation was that the seats felt a bit on the firm side. I am wondering for those who have already had a chance to drive it, do you feel the same why?

Why are there almost NO X-line being delivered based on Failcat? Im concerned because my order is X-Line.

hey guys sorry if this has been posted already but I just saw the Motormouth review for telluride and while they had mostly good things to say bout the 23 model, they did mention that the seats feel a little firm. I am wondering for anyone who has had real life experience with 23 model has experienced the same or not?

If they are the same Nappa leather ventilated seats as in 22 (they should be) then they are pretty firm and caused the back of my butt to go numb. I had issues with all Hyundai/Kia ventilated seats and had to use a cushion for my Telluride SX. I've never had an issue with any other seats in any other car.

I picked up my '23 Telluride EX 3 weeks ago, and it's the most comfortable car I've ever driven. The driver's seat is wide, supportive, and just the right balance of soft yet firm. (The feel of a seat is VERY subjective though, I know.) The Telluride is way more comfortable than say a Honda or Toyota. Add in the heated seats, which work really well, and I could drive for hours. I say that as someone with back and neck injuries, so that's saying a lot. In fact, when I was car shopping this summer, the comfort of the driver's seat was the main criteria before I seriously evaluated a car. As soon as I sat in the Telluride, I knew it felt right, and I hadn't actually been looking at Tellurides.

we've had two SXP (2020 and 2021) my sister-in-law has an SX and her seats definitely have a little more cushion in them. Ventilated seat bottoms can only be so thick or have so much foam in them and also allow air to pass through them.

I do find them to be a little more firm than I'd like for long road trips but I wouldn't say it's a terrible seat

Which did you purchase from Fusz or Butler (or one outside of St Louis)?

My Nappa leather in my Genesis seems fine. Leather seats, in general are more firm than cloth. My wife has an Atlas and those are firm seats.
