• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... HUD initially was only visible if I lowered myself to peer over the steering wheel. then it sort of migrated on it's own so that now I can't see it even if I move the seat as high as possible. this is a 2022 SXP. Bought the car out of state and didn't realize it wasn't working until I was halfway home. Anyone else run into this issue?

Did you try adjusting it from the menu? The HUD can be moved around........

Thanks and yes, tried everything I could. Took it to one of the local dealers and they can’t diagnose it. Supposedly working with Kia tech support but this has been going on for about a month and a half.

Yes - thanks. I've tried everything I can on the car, and first took it in a month and a half ago to the local dealer. They have no idea how to fix it and supposedly have called in Kia tech support. I've had to send pictures and a video as well. No answers from anyone, so wondering if this problem is unique to my car or if it is a larger issue.

Do you keep any objects on the dash that could be obstructing the HUD screen, behind the steering wheel? Do you wear polarized glasses? If you cannot adjust the HUD display height, the mechanism that tilts the HUD screen might be broken. If you can’t adjust the HUD brightness to even see the text at all, the power to the HUD screen may be disconnected or faulty.

Check/replace the fuse for HUD. 7.5 amp module 12 in the kick panel fuse box.

Thanks! The issue is that the display has been moving. I can see it fine when it just happens to be in the right place. It seems that whatever device controls it or should keep it in one place must be broken or malfunctioning. Unfortunately, the dealership I've taken this to is struggling with a solution (or they don't care).

Are you saying it’s moving while the car is driving, or you just sometimes notice it’s not where you left it?

Remember that the HUD is saved to your driver seat memory button. Maybe you set your settings with the HUD in a weird spot? And then every time you push your memory button, it recalls the position you inadvertently set?

If this is the case, make sure you have your seat, mirrors and HUD aligned just how you want them, then set.

Thanks - it does not appear to move while driving. However, it migrated prior to setting any driver preferences. At this time, regardless of how I attempt to adjust the HUD, it is not visible at all. There is nothing blocking the display, not wearing sunglasses, not bright out or raining, etc.
