I can happen quicker than you might think. My dealer called mid - October to advise I was rolled into 2023 version and ask what trim I wanted to go with. End of October they called and said “here by end of month” and 3rd week of November I picked it up.

I had an EX NF ordered at the beginning of March and then I was told in June it would be a 2023. Right around the beginning of November I was allowed to redo my order since NF is no longer an option. I asked if changing the color and interior to two colors that didn’t exist before and they made the change and I just picked it up this week from the dealer. The increase in production seems to be really taking effect already.

Not sure if I held my mouth just right or what, but our SX-P X-Line took roughly 5 weeks from order to "in transit"... we are excited!

Wow - you got lucky!!! Your dealer had the right allocation or your exact combination was found in the dealer match. Congratulations!!!

I'm starting to think it's a matter of demand softening, dealers not updating orders that are abandon or non-existent from the beginning, and/or Kia didn't follow order entry dates. It does show Kia built 10,173 vehicles in August which is a nice uptick from the 9k in previous months, however September and October are 8k and 9k respectively. It looks like there is a sustained uptick beginning May of 2023 to 11k consistently per month.

Right now, that is not an option the dealers can select. @StephenCantrelle previosly has noted that this Trim is not going into production until November. Hopefully orders can begin soon. I was hoping for the SX X-pro option but I had to include the Prestige when I switched to the 2023 model year. I'm probably still two months out on my order and hoping I can drop the Prestige before KIA picks mine up.

@StephenCantrelle Can you confirm if dealers are now able to select the SX X-Pro option without the Prestige? It looks like those have started to show up on Failcat in the last two weeks.

Picking up my 2023 next week, yay!
However, it does not come with carpeted floor mats like I wanted.
I have a seller who has the same trim (LX) who looking to sell his 2022 mats.
Anyone know if these will fit in the 2023 (Id assume yes, as the interior structures didn't change...)

I know third party mats are the same for either year.

Received the call that my order was picked up by KIA today.
The wait is almost over.

Adding to trailer hitch unoderability. Current attempt is to try to get the hitch installed now and install wire at a future point when/if becomes available.

Called my dealership to just check in and see if they have any updates on my order. Was told they have an estimated delivery date of 1/17. That would put us just over a year from when we put the original order in. Wait is almost over!

I originally ordered on 1/8/22, converted to a 23 on 9/30/22. Was told 1/2/23 as estimate 2 weeks ag. Told a couple days later that it was now be 1/21/23 because there was a significant delay with the Midnight Lake Blue orders. I certainly hope it's not any later.
