How to turn off rear air vent?

Every time when i turn off rear vent it keeps turning back on itself when i restart my car. How do i set it the way that it does not turn on itself?

This is a known issue - I’ve taken mine to the dealership and they confirmed that Kia is in the process of creating a new firmware update to address this issue.

No ETA on when the firmware will be available. I’m almost ready for my first oil change so I’ll have them check again when I take it in.

Mine too and I prefer that

I don't have the same issue as others. Mine seems to default to the last state I left it in - which does not bother me at all - I turn it off with the REAR button which pops up the controls on the screen or turn it on the same way - the dog prefers it on.

Mine also defaults to off where as I want it defaulting to last position I left it in

You may have done this already but it’s worth mentioning to check if the “auto” or “ sync” knob aren’t been left on
