• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... We just picked up my wife's 2023 Moss Green SX-P a couple of days ago that pushed from a 2022 order. While the exterior updates are growing on me, we fall in the camp that really miss the orange DRLs. I come from a long line of Honda/Audi ownership and I know there is quite a bit you can do with reflashes of the computer. I'm not familiar with what is out there on the Hyundai/Kia side. The question is, there are orange LEDs already in the light clusters used for the turn signals. Is anyone aware of a company out there that is looking into making a change to the computer that tells the car to use those bulbs instead of the white ones for the DRL lights? It doesn't seem like it would be that difficult. Seems easier than going with a whole new aftermarket unit...which I haven't seen either. It wouldn't obviously look the same as the rectangles around the lights but I think the 4 vertical dashes in orange could still look pretty cool, especially on a color like Moss.

Would look like the below:

If you really liked the look of the previous orange DRLs (cannot say I blame you there) have you looked into the wiring unit of the 23s and compared it to the 22s? I am sure you could find the electrical info somewhere to determine whether you could plug and play/swap your current headlights with a new (or used) pair from a 22 with the orange DRLs. I think the old orange lights on the refreshed fascia would be a great combo I just have not seen anywhere if the swap would be simple.

I'm not sure I want to go that route though. The new lights seem to be an upgrade. Previous years I have heard people get flashed a ton with others thinking they have their brights on. Now the lights are a 4 lens set up. Two for the lows and two for the highs. I gotta think the coverage is a bit better because they can do a bit more with the aiming and I haven't been flashed yet on the dark roads.

Just also seems that flashing to something that is already contained in the lights I have would be cheaper than switching out the whole units.

I wouldn’t bother, sounds like what you want to do would be a major PITA, and to do it for just cosmetic reasons—especially cosmetic reasons you can’t even enjoy—because you aren’t able to look at the car as you drive it down the road! Lol. Reflashing the computer is tricky…if done wrong it could cause real problems. You have great factory lights—not like the cheap OEMS on my ‘21 EX. So enjoy
