Just curious, how often are you opening the hood that this is a legitimate issue for you?When opening or closing hood it's kinda creaky (as opposed to creepy).
Mostly in cold weather.

More like obsessive compulsive. I'm a motorhead. Been participating in car shows for years, where dust on a coolant hose can cost you a trophy. Good luck in your quest. You can always try some custom billet aluminum hinges and soft close struts.
Oh I get it trust me. I'm just not under the hood of mine as much for this to be an issue.
