• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... 2023 Kia Telluride Discussion

I believe there may be a way to do a "hard reset" on the infotainment system but I am unaware of how to perform this. There should be instructions online. Is it just your "phone projection" that is not working? If so make sure you are using an Apple branded lightening cable and also try someone else's phone to eliminate the phone hardware and cable as a variable. I have gotten the black screen every now and then in both my Acura and Telluride - it has always resolved itself after a power cycle on the vehicle and / or changing the cord. Good luck and keep us posted.
Rarely, but this happens on my Odyssey too and resolves on power cycle or replug.

Did they remove the option for a factory-installed tow hitch for SX Prestige?

To be clear, the 2023s, regardless of trim level, have never had the option to add a hitch due to the recall.
oh? So until further notice, you have to have it installed after delivery?

That's correct. No timeline being provided to any dealers right now. Part number isn't even valid in the parts department. Pretty big disappointment on the forum. Look for the threads on hitches.

Was told from our dealer that we have an estimated Jan 17th delivery date. Have people been experiencing accurate delivery based on that or have people been getting pushed back consistently? We are going to get our own financing since Kia rates are not competitive but we don't want to apply now if there is a decent chance of being pushed back.

Ours arrived on time (see signature). It was actually adjusted closer at one point.

We got 4.99% with Kia which is not astounding but is better than advertised and equal to our local credit unions. I would personally leave the Kia option open in case they try to match and make sure I had solid alternatives.

They have the option for the self-leveling rear suspension but not the hitch
I see from your signature you went from a few Jeep Grand Cherokees to the Telly. I’m doing the same thing. How do you like the Telly compared to the Jeep?

I love my Telluride!! I would say the Jeep seemed like better paint and cache (at least when I got mine). But the Telluride is more bang for the buck, with better features for a better price. If you are looking at doing any kind of real off-roading I would say Jeep is better. Seats after nearly 3 years look like new. I would give the Grand Cherokee L a chance down the road but would like to get a new Telluride next before looking at Jeep again. Feel free to reach out with any specific questions you have!!

Question for the forum- on failcat as of 12.21 I see a trim, exterior color and interior color from my dealer that matches my build. The dealer called and told me on 1215.2022 my order had been picked up. Is there a chance what I see on failcat is my build?

I was told December 9th----Then December 16th-----Then December 23rd. It arrived December 20.

First post - thanks for all the great info here. I randomly decided to check in with my dealer tonight, thinking it was way too early. He said they’re expecting delivery 2/11/23! I’m holding it loosely, but still so excited there’s a date. I don’t see it on Failcat yet, but I assume that will come.

What I came here to share was about the tow hitch discussion. He confirmed the 2023s are not coming with a tow hitch, but said the dealership is contracting with a company to install them after market - both the hitch and the wire harness - and said he’d get me a quote. That was the first I’d heard of a dealership doing that, so thought I’d share. Hopefully more will start doing it. I’m in Colorado - just west of Denver. If you’re interested, I’ll let you know how much the quote is when I get it.

Here she is! 2023 S AWD — chrome delete and wheels done by Wrap Kreations in Carrollton (highly recommend working with them). Bought from Huffines McKinney for MSRP + $999 for tint.

I need help, should I add black “Telluride” lettering on the back, front, or both?

Originally ordered in June, ended up canceling the order because someone backed out on this one last week.
How are the headlights ? You know if they’re brighter than the 22?

I have been getting ads on Facebook from Lending Tree offering 2.49% for 60 month auto financing. Haven’t clicked on it yet, but that would be a great rate.
I went through the lending tree site. Have 830 credit score, and got no where near the 2.49% they show

The 2023 headlights for the S and LX models are infinitely superior to the 20-22 model halogens. In my opinion, the headlights are the biggest upgrade for the LX and S models for 2023.

I don't see that ad any more and the best rate my credit union is showing is 5.14% for 60 months. I never finance for over 36 months, but it looks like I might just pay cash for this one, if it ever gets built.

If you don't lease - make sure you get "replacement value" insurance - costs a small amount more but if your vehicle gets totaled, you'll be able to replace it with a like vehicle with the insurance proceeds. Actual cash value insurance (typical) can put you out if you want to replace it with a new vehicle.

My Erie policy will buy a 3 year newer and 30k miles less vehicle if I total it. I pay about $150/year extra for that policy, but it covers 2 vehicles.
