It seems like I've read here that not all were repaired? Some have to be repaired at the dealer?
Also, do the affected cars show up on Carfax as damaged?

I was told that the car's history/Carfax would not show any damage since they were fixed before they left the manufacturer. I don't have anything to go on other than what I was told when I agreed to purchase one of them.

No idea if some had to be repaired at dealers. It is my understanding they are all being repaired at the manufacturer. But. . . I may not have the whole story.

I would agree with everything you been told. Should not show up on carfax and all should be repaired at the factory.
