• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... What's the secret to send/receive texts on the Telluride? I have an android phone and would like to do this by voice command.

Welcome! Just letting you know that this topic has been moved out of the community lounge and into the Telluride Technology forum. :)

Best way is to connect your android to the Usb-A port and start up Android Auto. With Android Auto you can either use the microphone button on the screen to start up Google Assistant or you can hold down the "talk" button on your steering wheel (pressing it uses the Kia interface, holding it down launches Google Assistant). Then you can use Google Assistant to send texts. "Send a text message to.....". If will then ask you what you want to say, repeat the message, ask if you ready to send, etc. When someone replies, you can play the message and Google Assistant will automatically ask you if you would like to reply, you say yes, she will ask you "what's the message", and so forth.
