  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Hello,

I just picked up a 2024 Telluride SX X-Pro, Dark Moss with black interior. This will be my wife's daily driver. I never really thought of buying a Kia, but after checking it out we were quite impressed with all the features and how the car drives. I do have a 4,500 pound RV trailer that we tow occassionally so the 5,500 pound tow capacity should suffice.

I tend to do all maintenance myself so I am sure I will be lurking a lot. First order of business is to install my trailer brake controller. The car came with the harness to connect my controller to the car. I looked around and haven't seen too many threads on this. I will be doing in once the weather gets better. I will document what I do and share it here. From what I have read on the forum, I want to be careful with the placement so we do not hit it on the way in/out of the car. Thankfully it will only be mounted while towing.

I haven't tanking any pictures yet but these where from the showroom floor. Never bought a car off the floor befire. :)

Looking forward to contributing.

Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. I'm glad you found us. Congratulations on the brand new Telluride! :) What did the Telluride replace for your wife?

Regarding the two hook, I believe there are a couple of discussions going on in this section:
