Hi All,
I wanted to share with everyone my lift. I decided to go with Shark Racing(mfg by Big foot) Heavy duty lifting springs to help with the tow package infamous rear shocks blowing. I had them warrantied before I did this at 25k miles. I did immediately put in the airbags and at about 35k miles put on the springs. Since then I currently have 98k miles and the shocks have held up.
One issue I had was the passenger side hub bearing blew and I replaced with an OEM one and haven’t had issues since. The car definitely rides much nicer in my opinion and not as “floaty” as stock. I’m used to a street legal road course car on coilovers with a fully built suspension, so for some it might be “too stiff”. But everyone that has driven in my car love it and haven’t had any complaints.
The Michelin Crossclimate2 are very soft so I run them at 38-40psi so i can maintain the handling of my preference.
2021 Tellurmom SX Prestige
Airbag helpers in rear
MICHELIN CROSSCLIMATE2 265/50R20 111V XL BSW ALL SEASON TIRE
Pictures are with 10mm, but I have gone to 5mm spacer all around because I thought it would fix the rubbing… it still rubs
I also have strut bar, subframe brace/front lower bar, both rear lower bar/rear frame brace.
