Xtool DS8W Scan Tool

Has anyone used this tool on a Telluride yet? Buddy has a 2024 Telluride and I want to unlock features that the dealer wants $$ for. Have unlocked BMW features that the dealer literally wanted thousands for with this tool. haven't contacted their support yet. Just curious to see if anyone has used and figured this is a good place to start. Thanks for any input - Steve

I've been looking for something like this to unlock/change features, but can't find anything. I have a Carista subscription, but there is no Kia support. It looks like Xtool supports 2021 and 2022 Tellurides. If you find something that works on a 2024, I'm interested. I also looked at Carly, but no Kia support there either. With Carista, I changed the following on my Lexus - long hold on the keyfob unlock button rolls down all windows. I also changed the lane change indicator from 3 blinks to 5 blinks. There are about 60 things I can change on the Lexus with the tool.

Xtools is pretty good at Vehicle Updates. I do know that you can change pretty much everything on a Toyota / Lexus that the dealer can with the Toyota Diag Tool they use, and it's faster. Guy on YouTube is a tech for Toyota but prefers to use Xtool. I purchased the Xtools D8W and will get on Thursday. Will let you know if it works with Telluride. Maybe the 2022 stuff will have some functions that will work. Will let you know.

Also, forgot to mention that Xtools gives you the PIN/Password to copy keys with without having to buy a whole separate unit/software.

You can change the lane change indicator in your setup page
