• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Welcome. Haven't heard of this happening. In any event, I'm moving this topic out of the Non-Telluride Talk area - and in the main Telluride forum...

Are you disengaging the Auto Shut Off feature that all new cars come with to save fuel? If you don't turn that feature off each time you start the car your engine will shut off at traffic lights to save fuel. As far as putting it in P or N before restarting, I think there was an update done during a recall that required you to do that but only I think it's only if you weren't wearing your seatbelt. I had an issue at a car wash after the update where I put my car in N to go through the wash and at the end since I wasn't wearing my seatbelt I couldn't put it back in D directly from N, I think I had to go to P first if I recall.
