• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I have a 2020 Telluride with 84K miles. Lately, when I try to start it, it clicks like its dead but the dashboard lights up flashing BCW off, BCW on, and interior lights flash. It will do this a few times before it starts and now the driver window is down just a little, but I can't roll it all the way up. My husband took it to his mechanic and ran his code diagnosis and it showed everything is fine. We do have a recall to attend to for front seat power motors...but not sure this would cause the start up problems. We do have an appointment for the recall, but was wondering if anyone had similar experiences?

Welcome. Just letting you know that I moved this topic out of the community lounge and into the Telluride Technology forum...

Same thing just happened to me on a road trip this past weekend. Wasn't able to start the car at first, finally started after holding down the start/stop button for 30 seconds or so. Lots of clicking from the starter. Turned the car off after 5 minute drive and it wouldn't restart. Had to jump it and drove all the way home without stopping. Everything working normally now - might be time for a new battery. (2020 SX with 75k miles)

First thing I would do is to thoroughly clean the battery posts and connectors. If you don't have a battery terminal cleaning brush/tool, get one. What you are describing could be a low voltage or intermittent voltage problem caused by corroded battery terminals. Even they appear to be clean with no corrosion, give them a good cleaning. I'm always confident but often wrong. So, this is just my two cents.
