• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Parking sensor error or blockage

Replaced the wire harness today and fixed the issue…while replacing I put a ton of electrical tape on the back side of each connector before plugging them back in…defective part design

Yes as matter of fact. Just today and there was a malfunction with the sensor. The dealership replaced it for free at no charge. They had to order the part so hopefully they have parts at your service station.
How did you get them to replace it for free? I'm trying to look into my situation and I don't think I should have to pay for something that is not my fault. Kia obviously knows they messed up by not letting this be covered.

Water ingress into the backside of the connector?
If so, might I suggest filling the "opens" by packing silicone (with your thumb) into the open end.

Electrical tape is NOT waterproofing.
