If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Hello

Looking at a used 2022 Telluride EX 37k miles. I see decent oil changes and two owners on Carfax no accidents. Test drive tomorrow. Any thoughts from the everyone on this vehicle?

We have two 2007 Santa Fes 300k+miles. Oil changes 3000 miles and synthetic. Time for a new SUV.

Any and all comments welcomed and encouraged. Thanks!

Having spent most of my life in the business, I can WHOLEHEARDETLY recommend a PPI; Pre Purchase Inspection. By a qualified independent.
Note that's Pre and NOT Post Purchase Inspection.

Anyone that works on these for a living can spot potential problem spots, overall condition and (god forbid) someone nefariously trying to hide something.
The most common one is a Check Engine light that keeps coming back on. The seller uses their $25 tool and resets it, you drive and all is good. Three days later.... BAM, Check Engine Light! Now it's YOUR problem.

A higher end tool can check to see when the last time the Check Engine Light was cleared, AND if the "Readiness Monitors" (self check of the systems) is set and satisfied.
Money Well spent.

Wow. Good info. Yes I plan PPI. Pre not post. I did not know they could check previous clicks of the engine light. Good stuff. Thanks.

Be sure to ASK about the last time the Ck Eng light was cleared AND if the "Readiness Monitors" have been set?
If there're "pending" , that's another term for NOT set.

Some items that can turn on a Ck Eng light will come on either during a drive or on the next subsequent shutoff/Start.
Sone of the checked items take two full drive cycles to pop the light on.
FYI
