Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Congratulations!!!MINE FINALLY ARRIVED!
Ordered a Snow White pearl with Dune Brown; Prestige, Towing and AWD on March 30.... yes that would be March ...it took five and half months.
Took possession last night ...
Paid MSRP ... dealer threw in all weather mats, cargo net and cargo cover.
It’s a waiting process..... But oh so worth it
Now please post some pics, inside and out. Because I ordered the same Telluride!

I agree, I ordered the gravity grey sxp withbtge light gray interior. If I would've went with white ir moss butterscotch would've been my choice. Congrats. I should be getting mine in a month or two.
Did anyone get confirmation from the dealer that the order was actually placed? I placed mine 2 weeks ago and just got a receipt for the deposit, the price, and print out of the options I picked. I asked if I could get confirmation they ordered the right one and they have been giving me the run around (salesperson or manager out). I have seen a few posts about the wrong options being ordered. I’m questioning if they actually placed the order, or just holding on to my money hoping one will come in eventually that matches what I ordered while stringing me along.

Same here...about 5 weeks out and I have only the same receipt for deposit and the print out with options. From what I can gather from other posts on this forum, that is par for the course. Seems like it takes quite a bit of time before you get any kind of actual confirmation that the order has been accepted. Luckily we don't need the vehicle right now, so we are ok with waiting it out.

Ordered a Black on Black SXP/AWD/Tow last April. I received it almost 4 months to the day. So far I am enjoying it and am having to learn how to utilize all the options. Amazed that it is almost self driving. In April...after a lot of researching, I went in and layed down a deposit. I got the receipt and later a thank you email for ordering the vehicle. After that..it was a waiting game and did make a few trips to the dealer to see what the progress was. The last time I went, they told me "soon" and I had hoped for a VIN so I could notify my Insurance Co. Well...got a call the next morning that it was coming in later that day. It seems it was at a Vehicle hub ( used by several different dealers) about 12 miles from me. So I informed them to NOT prep the surface ( NO Washing..didn't want swirls in the paint) Just top the fluids and gas. After I signed the paperwork...I took it home to a garage. I had made arrangements with a friend that runs a Paint Restoration/detail shop. He did work for several client that owned HIGH$$$$ Euro and American/Asian vehicles. I had him ceramic my exterior and UV the interior. Should not have to wax it for a long long time. The surface ...when done.. looked like an Ebony Mirror.
In the end ..be patient and keep in contact with those you deal with at the dealership. If you have an issue with them..I recommend a call to Cali.... KIA of America. They don't like complaints about their dealers and will make a call. For now... I love the TR.It will be a learning experience....

So, I’ve requested the KIA K dealer printout, and he claimed he sent it to me by email to two different ones I gave hi. Haven’t received it (checked again this morning). May I go to any KIA dealership and request it in person?

You should probably have a "filled order" with name attached. We have sold a few vehicles to people who learned the dealer did not place a sold order but rather is waiting on stock units to fill requests. Big difference. If we can help in anyway please reach out to me.

Contacted the dealer today to see if I can get a screenshot of order acceptance. He sent me a copy of order request. He has been saying that the order has been accepted, but when I asked for it, he said he has not been filled yet. So basically he couldn't provide any evidence that my order has been accepted 8 weeks after placing an order. I ordered on July 25th, I'm losing f&$%ing mind and patience righ now. WHAT THE HELL IS REALLY HAPPNEING?

You ordered 2 weeks ago. You can expect around Feb or Mar in 2020 at their best. Ordered mine on July 25th and my order has not been fulfilled yet after 8 weeks of placing an order. Plus, around 30,000 Telluride were recalled for seat belts safety issue, so probably yours will be arrived around Mar or Apr 2020. People who get their car like a month or 2 months are all the case that someone else placed an order and they cancel them. Those people happened to have a same match that they wanted, and that's why they are getting their car so fast.
My dealer has told me that my order has been accepted, but he could not provide any document showing it when I asked him today. He sent me a copy of order request which I already have had from the day I placed an order.
And he's saying that my order is still in the que...which basically means he has been telling me the false statement and my order has NOT been accepted for the last 8 weeks.

Ordered my Black on Black SXP/AWD/Tow last April... almost 4 months to the day..I got it... Love it so far. I had it Ceramic Coated and UV interior. If you want that done...don't let them prep the outside...no swirl marks. I had it coated and it looks like an ebony mirror... No waxing ever....
