Random Bluetooth Calling Issue

Both my wife and I have Pixel 3a XL's that have been updated to the new Android Pie. We are both having an issue where if the phone is plugged in and displaying android auto, every single time we shut the car off and unplug the phone it will dial the last phone number we called over the still connected bluetooth.

The only way we can stop it from calling is to immediately open the door. This is incredibly frustrating and we are trying to figure out if anyone else is experiencing this.

Good suggestion but same thing, car on or car off, as soon as the USB cable is disconnected it makes a call.

That is a strange thing, definitely sounds like a programming bug, just don't know if it's Kia's programming or AA programming. I would just let your service department know and log it, if it happens on enough of them, they might look into it.

Was this ever fixed for you? I am in a 2022 and it keeps calling my last call via BT over and over again. I have to disconnect the phone all the time. It's extremely annoying.

Has your issue been fixed, because this keeps happening to me and last night my hatch door opened by itself while I was in my home and has my husband not come home to see it, it would've remained like that the entire night.

Just bought a 2021 Telluride. My husband was in the car with me on a phone call (not thru the vehicle). I dropped him off and as soon as he got out it switched to BT in the car. He was still holding his phone trying to talk but all of sudden his call came up in my car as I was driving away. I hung up on the person and my car called her back!
