Kia Telluride US production stats. by trim and colors

I agree with you! I like the Everlasting Silver but it only has a black interior (bummer). I would have liked that to have a grey interior, at least. My two cents.

This is Awesome!! Quick Question: The trim I want SXP Black Copper/ Dune Napa only shows 11 were produced, Does this mean my wait time cloud be longer than others since it’s not so much in demand or less?

As of September 30, there were a total of 168 Telluride VINs produced that match SXP Black Copper/Dune Brown (80 with towing and 88 without towing).

The 11 that you see is only for the month of September 2019.

By looking at my chart, the Black Copper exterior color is currently the color that is produced the least (this does not mean it will always be like this in the future). As for the wait time, I have not idea how long it can take since I have no information on the production schedule and the demand for the Telluride is currently very high compare to the offer . The only information that I have is from the VIN windows sticker that get generated daily. These new VIN windows sticker that get generated daily might be for a model that is already reserved for a customer from a dealer months ago, or that the dealer as simply put an order for a specific model/color. Also, I think that some dealers are allocated more Tellurides per month compare to other base on the volume of cars that they sold in the past.

Since the start of production in 2019, there are 4994 Tellurides VINs that have been produced to be shipped to Oklahoma and Texas dealers. This is too much data to send you. Can you help me narrow this down to some trim/color/zip code so that I can send you what you are looking for.

As for releasing my C# code that does this data scraping, I don't really want share my code since I have spent a great deal of my time on that tool. What my tool produces at the end is an SQLite database that contains all the information on the trim, color, dealer location, etc (essentially information available on the VIN windows sticker). I could potentially produce a monthly read-only Google Sheet with all of this information for anyone to use, but I am not sure if Kia will be happy if I release this information. Let me know what you think.

I don't really need the info, and understand your reluctance to release the code or make a publicly available sheet. I don't think KIA could come at you for making that information public in tabular form, since the info is already out there, but who knows. I've seen some pretty strange cease and desists in my day!

Just reserved a White/Gray SX set to arrive 10/28, so (hopefully, fingers crossed) I'm off the market! Thanks again for your contribution to the community.

Also, as requested by a number of forum members, here is a read-only copy of my full database exported as Google Sheet. If a VIN contains .. then this VIN is a Canadian or Middle East VIN and no information is yet available for these VINs.

With this Google Sheet, you can filter by any of the available columns and find out which Telluride model/color is coming to your nearest dealer. From what I have seen, once a VIN window sticker is generated (VIN_CREATION_DATE), it takes about 30 days for the Telluride to be build and shipped to the dealer.
