I had a bad experience with my local Oklahoma Kia dealer on ordering a Telluride. After 8 weeks of waiting I was told my order was fulfilled but not allocated to me and that it would be roughly December before I received my car that I ordered on July 25th. I found the exact car I ordered at Jake Sweeney Kia in Florence Kentucky 12 hours away and they were absolutely amazing in helping buy the car from over 700 miles away. They worked with me every step of the way over the phone and email in helping get the purchase completed. I got a white SXP dune brown with self level for Costco pricing plus rebates. They sent me all the paper work next day air to Oklahoma so that my wife could sign as well. I flew into town the following week to pick the car up and my sales associate Joe was there ready to pick me up from my hotel the next morning. They had me in and out and on my road trip home in about 5 minutes. The car was in pristine condition. I can't say enough how great the staff was at Jake Sweeney Kia. Hands down one of the best car buying experiences I have ever had. Joe and Dontae were great every step of the way. I would highly recommend them to anybody looking for a Telluride. Ps my wife loves her new car so much and I got multiple people asking about during my 12 hour road trip home.

They were slightly higher then Oklahoma. Doc fee was $400 and then they had a $299 paint coating. My local dealer was $379 total. But I figured that with the money I was saving with Costco pricing was still awesome deal. Ended up right at right at $44,600 with all fees included for sxp with self leveling.

With rebates and doc fee my original preorder in Oklahoma for msrp with doc fees was $46,700. So was well worth my $200 plane ticket and 1 night hotel room. Plus they were so great to deal with.

That’s awesome! I don’t see what I want in stock but I reached out anyway. Florida fees are $899 plus mark up and or add ons.

I worked with Joe he was great. I just happened to see our car online when doing a national search. I did get fortunate that it matched our exact order that fell through.

Shout out to Michael Cain Edwards Kia in Council Bluffs - just picked up my Telly last night and they did a fantastic job from start to finish. I'm now a proud owner of a White SXP, Paid MSRP + $180 dealer doc fees with the .9% 48 month Kia financing. I would have waited until next year to have some negotiating power but needed the business deduction for this year.

Had a great buying experience at Napleton Riveroaks Kia in Calumet City, IL. Salesman first name was Lord and he was very nice, patient and knowledgeable. Sales manager Ryan was also excellent. Paid a little over msrp but that's ok. Got the $1000 incentive so it's all good. Would recommend them if you are in Chicago area and are looking for a Telluride.

What's "a little"? Frankly I think any dealer selling for over MSRP doesn't belong in this thread.

I am still trying to lay my hand on a SXP without luck here in NorCal/SF Bay Area. Almost every dealer I spoke to has a markup of 5k. Anyone able to get MSRP or below? I have never experienced a situation where MSRP seems like a deal.

Did you pay $898 for their dealer add one of tint, nitrogen and pin strip? They are telling us those are not optional ...

Medved Kia in Wheatridge, CO. I paid $1k less than MSRP minus incentives I qualified for on a White SXP with gray interior and tow package. Worked with Tee Thorson and Sales Manager Ryan Harrison. I was originally set to buy an incoming white SX with butterscotch at MSRP. There was a mixup and we did not get the vehicle. However they stepped up to make it right. They offered us $1k off an SXP another customer backed out of about a month before it was scheduled to be delivered. We have owned it for a week and couldn’t be happier.

Did you order with AWD? How long ago did you place order? Did they update you on arrival times? Is there anything you would do differently with them in hindsight?

I ask because I placed my order with Medved Kia in Wheatridge July 27th and haven't heard much of anything from them yet. Glad to hear someone had a great experience with them though. Gives me hope.
