Order to delivery time

August 26th SXP with tow. ETA of December 28th. No VIN yet.

Do you have an allocation yet? If so - and if what we're hearing about the currently timelines is true, I suspect she'll go into production pretty soon.

I ordered an SXP from them a few days before you ordered. Have no production news yet. Anecdotally, from this forum, it seems as though the "P"'s do take longer to produce.

Ordered an SXP beginning of August and Lucas has no idea when it will arrive. what a great anniversary gift!! Enjoy!!

Yes it's been allocated and dealer said order is filled, not sure what that means but they expect 12/28 eta, could be couple weeks either way. Once VIN is given will feel better.

Did they order it for sure? I've had people reach out to me from all over the country finding out dealer never ordered buy they are waiting for a similar vehicle to arrive. Very common issue.

We've been notified they accepted our order and showed me a screenshot that were the #1 order for that dealership. Our order got moved up in priority a few weeks ago.

So why is it that some dealers are waiting for similar allocations for people who put down a deposit versus submitting a sold order to Kia? What are the different mechanisms/reasons at play with the different approach? Are you saying if I place an order with you, it actually gets submitted to Kia as a sold order from Muncie?

Yes. KIA puts you on a list with what you want. What I hear from a ton of people around the country is that dealers do Not want to order vehicles and or deal with it. Too much trouble? Too much work? I can't really answer that but I do know WE are in the business to sell vehicles and we will do anything for our customer to assure they get what they want. Yes... Wait times suck but out of our control. Dealers that say they have placed orders when in reality waiting for stock units to show are not helping matters.
