I would bet that they will not even let you drive it once you get there.

I think it is a lot of inflated and unproven info.Has anyone experienced this with their Kia? Good to be aware of. Hyundai, Kia Class Action Says Power Windows Are Defective | Top Class Actions
Pretty easy to check with carrots. Better to know about it and make sure kids fingers and heads aren't out the window (or your dog's nose).I think it is a lot of inflated and unproven info.

GOOD LUCK! We are all hoping you get exactly what you want at a FAIR (not OVER MSRP)!

Who in the hell screws something up like that and let's a customers Sold car go on a test drive?! No way no how with us. That's what we have a base demo LX for. Test Drives Only.Just left Wagner Kia. I drove an EX, first one I have actually driven and overall I am very pleased with the Telluride's performance and comfort and all which is great. I told the sales guy I was ready to sign a deal today, but only at sticker minus all applicable incentives.. I also found on Kia.com that they have $4010 in lease incentives if you do a 24 month lease which I am very open to and brought that printout with me as well. A manager came over to the desk and tried to get me to tell him who I had ordered my car from which I declined. He told me that everyone has markups, which I debunked quickly. He told me the online calculator was incorrect on the payment as it wasnt all inclusive for taxes and all, but I told him I wasn't worried about the payment, only the terms and rebates.
He started talking some more and I stopped him. I told him I will buy the car at $47,775 plus only a reasonable doc fee and the COST of the clear bra they had already applied to the car, but that all incentives for leasing or financing from Kia would be mine and come off the purchase price. I told him if he put that deal in front of me in writing I would sign right now and pick the car up tomorrow.....
He went away for a few minutes... came back and told me that the car I had driven the 45 minutes to see based on their internet sales person confirming it WAS available was actually on order for someone else and they couldnt sell it to me, but they would be open to ordering one for me. At which point I left and told the sales guy to call me if they change their mind.

Hey Martha..... What a deal! You will buy an EX at almost $48,000? That's like a $9K markup already Sir.
Why don't you order from us and end this hope and pray program? Seriously. 100% honest and zero games. No, the car was an SX, but I drove the EX they had outside. The one I want is in the showroom and they didnt want to pull it out for a test drive. Sorry for not being clear. Its an SXP with Tow, Ebony over Dune.

When one comes in and not spoken for its amazing how many people show up to drive it. We only work 1 deal at a time or have people get in line to be fair. If deal falls apart... Next man up. Happened on our last available SX.This is getting worse by the day, it seems.
I got a call today with a local dealer offering me an SX, no Prestige, no AWD and no fancy options. $695 vs. $590 on the Kia lease "estimate" calculator (with tax) and same terms as they stated. (This dealer I had visited before I placed my order with Kia of Muncie. I drove one from this dealer back in September and by the time the test drive was over someone ELSE had already bought the vehicle I was test driving!) Then I went to the Muncie Men!
Anyway, today he then gave me the song and the dance about the "other dealers" charging larger markups then they were when I told him his lease price was way out of line. I told him I wasn't concerned about what other dealers were doing. End of story. GO with the Muncie Men!
I offered to and you told me not to bother via email Jason! I have an order with my local dealer who does sell at sticker and include all incentives, but it’s going to be months before I see the car.Why don't you order from us and end this hope and pray program? Seriously. 100% honest and zero games.
I'm scratching my head on this one. Please forward it to me. jfox@kiaofmuncie.comI offered to and you told me not to bother via email Jason! I have an order with my local dealer who does sell at sticker and include all incentives, but it’s going to be months before I see the car.
Ok.... I found the communication. I told you to stay where you are at since you already have an order placed. I've told this same thing to many people in the same situation. I had forgotten we have traded emails but I get 15 - 30 per day asking questions on Telluride. Additional orders soak up someone else's order if you place a second order then wait for 1st available to come in. We won't be doing that. Could be one of our fellow members waiting. If anyone wants to go with us and jump ship.... Up to them but I would appreciate that they cancel the previous order. Lot of time and effort goes into these deals. Not fair to the other dealer. I'd like to say or think that 95% of orders placed with us stay for the long haul. Now if that dealer is dishonest or is really trying to screw a member over.... By all means, run to us. We will help.I offered to and you told me not to bother via email Jason! We have been advised by KIA to cancel the order. No additional unit coming in a situation like that for us.My intention wouldn’t be to place two orders, but to find the best offer and keep the order there. My dealer locally doesn’t offer the Costco pricing so that was why I inquired with you. If shipping offsets that then I will stay where I am. However, as loyal to my dealer as I am, if I am able to buy the car I wanted sooner without paying a premium then so be it and someone else can benefit from my dealer getting an extra unit in that was ordered.
