• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Dodge is now more reliable than KIA... Sad!

  1. Lexus
  2. Mazda
  3. Toyota
  4. Porsche
  5. Genesis
  6. Hyundai
  7. Subaru
  8. Dodge
  9. Kia
  10. Mini

🥶🥵😰😨😓😢😭🤬😡

Honda and Infinity at rank 12 and 13. Looks like Dodge is doing well rather than Kia doing bad. LOL

EDIT: Dodge did step up 13 ranks while Kia decreased by 1. Great job, Dodge!
EDIT2: Ongoing vibration issues must not be good for Kia and Hyundai for their 2021 ranking.

Yeah sure, just the paint option alone will wipe out 1/4 of that sweet SX MSRP money. :ROFLMAO:

The major stuff that we really worry about is so minor for the top ten, they have to use the small stuff to get any difference in pack. Things like bluetooth and software issues making up the vast majority of the differences.

Consumer reports predictive reliability score is subjective. The Ascent was at 96 score when it was released. It is now 82. The Telluride was 90 when it was released, it is now a 92.

The score is a guess. A guess that has some facts behind it, but just a guess.

I trust consumer reports as far as I can throw them...https://www.allpar.com/cr.html
That is the truth. You can buy rank 💰

Mini is terrible and has been with Dodge. Rule #1 don't buy a Mini. Rule #2 don't buy a Mini.

5-10K markup on a vehicle that ranks 9th in reliability?! Thank God I paid MSRP. I'm trading my wifes SX in for a Porsche!

Kia ranks 9th across all manufactures in this report based off owner surveys, not the Telluride.

I can't get on board with any of these survey based rankings....CR, JDP etc. There has to be a better data driven way to evaluate reliability. Something using actual repair data like Repair Pal. Their top 5? Honda, Ac ura, Kia, Hyundai, Mazda. Toyota #7.... Should be fairly easy for the extended warranty company's compile repair data!

CR has some value, but I read their ratings with some skepticism. They seem really pro-Subaru, and have been for 10+ years. I’ve owned two, and liked them both, but I don’t think CR gave unbiased reviews of Subaru.

Also the Suzuki Samurai debacle is hard to overlook.

“Suzuki charges that at this point Landau threatened his testing staff, saying, “If you can’t find someone to roll this car, I will!” David Pittle, CU’s technical director, tried nine times to roll the car over without success. He finally succeeded in getting it to tip up by turning the car so sharply that it went off the test course. A video shows onlookers cheering and yelling, “Yeah!” One said , “I think I got that, I think I got that.””

I am actually surprised they even acknowledged Dodge, generally they despise anything Dodge or Jeep. I am currently a Durango owner, actually it is my second one and they have been very good to me. My lease is up in July and trying decide if I want something different or get another Durango. The Telluride has a nice look but there are things that the Durango does better and vice versa. It basically comes down to tolerance on what I can live with and live without. The trim levels are a little odd to me with the available options and their idea of a tow package is pretty pathetic.

Anyway laying in the weeds reading about everyone’s experiences early in the cycle. Enjoy!

Don't buy anything Jeep also...

Depends on which Jeep. My wife is on her 6th Grand Cherokee, she just picked up a 19 Limited X. All of them have been issue free so far except for an occasional recall, nothing where they had to keep the car.

In the beginning they had a love for Toyota, I had a corrola and Camry in the 80's nothing special both had blown head gaskets at under 50,000 miles☹️

The COMPANY ranks 9th NOT the vehicle!!

Completely BS rankings from CR, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Dodge was better now, that’s what happens when you only make 4 vehicles vehicles (Durango, Charger, Chellenger, Journey) and all 4 are on at least their 6th year of the current models. The bugs are all worked out by now.
