Hi All!
I’m Tari, aka Tezza, which also happens to be the tag on my new gravity gray 2020 Telluride SXP. Happy to meet all of you! I’m really enjoying this SUV and all of its bells & whistles, but i am puzzled.........i hope someone can help.
I could swear that when i brought my T home, it would “light up” when i approached it with my smart key. By that i mean, the mirrors would extend, and the amber lights would come on - both on the mirrors and the ones around the front headlamps. I do not recall using the hard button on the smart key to unlock the doors in order to make this happen - this was just “on approach”. It’s no longer doing this (but again, I’m not sure it ever did?? I might be imagining it?) and I feel as though this stopped happening AFTER i was playing with features, and turned off the “welcome light/mirror” option (but I then turned it back on, not knowing what it actually was for). This is under “convenience” setting. Long-winded explanation to find out if the T does light up “on approach”? Or is just that the mirrors extend and the tiny light under the handle comes on?? I want it to light up so i see it as i approach. Please help - tell me what happens when you approach your locked vehicle without pressing the unlock key.
It stymies me that the car would not somehow make its presence known when i approach - and i feel the same when i do remote start. Why do the running lights not come on and stay on? Am i expecting too much?
Many thanks! Tari
