Orders Not Placed

It seems quite a few of you have emailed me recently in regards to not having your order placed by the dealer you ordered with. This is becoming a huge issue. Why didn't they order what you told them? I have no idea. Yes, waiting 4-5 months and starting completely over is just a punch in the gut. Unfortunately they can't police everyone. Almost impossible to do.

I think a lot of them would say screw it and buy something else if they had to start over. Plus Kia will never win those customers back ever. People just don't want to deal w/ the BS on the waiting game and dealer mark ups. May be why I'm seeing a ton of Palisade on the road the last few days, yet only one Telluride. Drove by the Hyundai dealer down the street from me on the way to Target last night. Had to be 20-30+ of them sitting on the lot right out front. I just don't like the styling of the Palisade though or I'd have gone that route.

I'm getting laughed at as it is by most of my family members for waiting 4-5 months for a Kia. Though keep telling myself that it'll be worth it. It's a gorgeous SUV, ridiculous value for the money if I can ever get it. And I'm sure they'll all be jealous when we finally get it.

Amen brother. You really can't find a negative review. MotorTrend SUV Of The Year is huge and only adds to the hysteria. It's like a post going viral. You never expect it and then boom! KIA had no idea it would be this good. Nobody expected this. They are building them as quick as they can. As a dealer we wish we could satisfy the demand but all we can do is wait like everyone else.
