• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Aftermarket Wheels for the Telluride

Decided to plastidip my stock 20 inch heart shaped wheels with gloss black to match the tint and the rear small spoiler on the backscreen. However I got an accessory workshop to spray them with compressor gun (5 paint + 1 gloss coat) and not the regular can. I must say the results are brilliant and these come with a 3 year warranty against chips, tearing and any other issue. Not only I get a new look on the wheels, but I can revert to the priginal look anyday if I wish to. definitely worth considering for those wanting black wheels.
How much?

I am considering the Verde V20 Insignia 22" wheels in satin black for my new Telluride SX AWD with a tire size of 265/40/22. What do you guys think? Should I be concerned with rubbing? Here are some images that I found online that inspired me. :)

They look nice (y) , fits the wheel well really nice. But my concern is the same as yours, will there be some rubbing?🤔

Since you already have a SX with the badass stock 20” black wheels, are these almost identical black 22s really going to be worth the hassle and expense? If so, congratulations on your disposable cash!

22x9 is what I was thinking...
Per my calculations, you shouldn’t have any rubbing issues. Your inner clearance is just as much as the stock wheels with 245 profile tire.

Awesome, thanks for the feedback!

I just put some 245/60/18x8 with 40 offset on my SX. Using some online calculators, the wheels are sticking out an additional 0.6inches. I’m a bit worried about potential tire damage now after looking at the setup. Am I being too cautious?

You shouldn’t have any problem.

Installed a set of 22” Verde Insignia’s today. Really like how they fill in the wheel well. 04F4CDF7-C860-453A-8E27-91F58A368DE4.webp
